The luminaire’s luminous efficiency is 115.8 lm/W.
The product operates at a connected wattage of 4.8 W for the lamp module and
5.9 W for the luminaire. It has a maximum rated temperature of 25°C and can be
installed in heat-insulating material.
The luminaire is equipped with overvoltage protection in accordance with DIN
EN 61547. However, for additional protection against transients, it is
recommended to use separate overvoltage protection components available on the
manufacturer’s website.
There is also a desiccant bag inside the luminaire housing that should not be
removed as it helps remove residual moisture.
The product comes with accessories such as a distribution box for installation
in soil (70 730) and a distribution box with 7 cable entries. There are also
connection terminals (5 x 4@) available.
For replacement parts, the following are available: spare glass (14 001 394),
LED power supply unit (DEV-0451/350), LED module 3000 K (LED-0336/830),
reflector (76 001 874), gasket glass (83 001 893).
Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure the luminaire is installed in soil, lawn, or gravel and not overrun by vehicles.
- Do not remove the desiccant bag from the luminaire housing.
- If the LED module needs replacement, refer to the label in the luminaire for the designation. The replacement module should have the same light colour and light output as the original module. Qualified persons should use standard tools for replacement and avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
- If additional protection against transients is desired, consider using separate overvoltage protection components available on the manufacturer’s website.

Safety
The installation and operation of this luminaire are subject to national
safety regulations. Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by
a qualified electrician.
We recommend fuse protection via a residual current circuit breaker to be
provided by the customer.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use or
installation. If subsequent modifications are made to the luminaire, the
person responsible for these modifications shall be considered the
manufacturer.
Overvoltage protection
The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against
overvoltage in accordance with DIN EN 61547.
To achieve an additional protection against e. g. transients, etc. we
recommend separate overvoltage protection components.
You can find them on our website at www.bega.com.
Installation
- Sufficient drainage (e. g. gravel, stone chippings) must be provided under the luminaire.
- 0.3 m of cable should be left under the luminaire housing so that the luminaire could be removed during maintenance work.
- Insert the luminaire flush into the soil surface. To protect the luminaire connecting cable from damage push the enclosed cable conduit over the cable.
- The electrical connection at the luminaire connecting cable must be carried out on site according to the protection class and safety class.
- We recommend to use a distribution box 70 730 or 71 053.
Cleaning · Maintenance
-
After installation, the luminaire should first be cleaned. Building dust, residues from contact adhesives, paint splashes and rust film must be completely removed. Never use high pressure cleaners and cleaning implements made
of normal steel, steel brushes or steel wool because they cause extraneous rust to form. When using stainless steel cleaners, please read the directions carefully. -
