Update Advisory Supervisory Control Platform Firmware 2.23F02 Release

Notes

A new general release version of the Supervisory controller firmware version 2.23F02 has been released and is available for customer upgrade. For more information, visit the Supervisory Control page on the Emerson website:

Who Should Update

Emerson recommends that all customers upgrade their Supervisory controllers and PCs running Connect+ to the latest version to take advantage of the latest fixes and enhancements listed in Table 3.
All customers who use any of the features below are advised to upgrade to Supervisory controller 2.23F02, and customers using any of the features listed in Table 3 .

CONNECT+ UPDATE RECOMMENDED

Table 1 – Supervisory Controller and Connect+ Compatibility Matrix It is recommended to upgrade to the latest Connect+ version. If you plan to upgrade Supervisory controllers and Connect+ at the same time, upgrade Connect+ to the latest version first, then update the Supervisory controllers. Contact Emerson for more information about upgrading.

DHCP & NTP: If the DHCP lease includes the NTP server IP address when enabled:

a.         At least one IP will be checked to verify if there is a valid NTP server IP.

b.        If at least one IP is a valid NTP server IP, the existing NTP server configuration will be replaced with these new IPs.

E3 Processor Interface Board (PIB)

Ø  Added time stamp to PIB log.

Ø  Added new PIB log report.

Ø  PIB will no longer intermittently restart for “socket error -5”

REST Reset Advisory (Service Log)

Ø  If advisories are reset by the REST interface, memory leak will not occur.

Ø  R448A refrigerant is now converting correctly.

Ø  The PIB Error Log will no longer appear truncated.

Ø  File size limit has been increased.
