Product Usage Instructions

Preparation

Before beginning assembly of the product, please ensure that you have all the necessary parts. Compare the parts with the package contents list and hardware contents list provided. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product. Estimated assembly time is approximately 20 minutes.

1. Thread the mounting screws (A) into the matching holes of the mounting plate (B), then fix the mounting plate (B) to the outlet box with machine screw (D).
2. Make wire connections using wire connectors (E) as per the reference chart below:

Connect Hot, Black or Red Outlet Supply Wire to:| Connect Neutral, White Outlet Supply Wire to:

Note: When parallel wire (SPT I & SPT II) is used, the neutral wire is square-shaped and ridged, while the hot wire will be round in shape and smooth. Refer to the illustration on the left.

Grounding Instructions:

1. For installation in the United States: Wrap the ground wire from the outlet box around the green ground screw (C) on the mounting plate, leaving no less than 2 inches from the wire end.
   Tighten the ground screw. If the fixture is supplied with a ground wire, connect it to the outlet ground wire using a wire connector.

2. For installation in Canada: If the fixture is supplied with a ground wire, wrap the ground wire around the green grounding screw on the mounting bracket. Tighten the ground screw.

3. Orient the back plate of the body (F) so that the mounting screw (A) protruding from the mounting plate (B) goes into the holes in the back plate of the body (F), then secure it with the screwed ball (G).

4. Install bulbs (H). Ensure that you use light bulb(s) with a wattage no greater than specified on this fixture. Always make sure that the electrical current is turned off before changing bulbs.

NOTE: Please use an on/off type A bulb with a maximum wattage of 40-watt or an LED bulb with a wattage of 9-watt. There are 2 pieces of 4-watt LED bulbs included in the box. Enjoy your lamp!

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• To clean the outside of the fixture, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the surface of the fixture.
• To clean the inside of the fixture, first disconnect power to the fixture by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box. Next, use a dry or slighly damperned clean clorth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the interior surface of the fixture.
• Do not use any cleaners with chemical, solvents or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.

• This item should be assembled on a soft surface to prevent scratching the finish during assembly
• To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to persons or property, please follow the guideline below for safe use and installation
• The external flexible cable or cord of this lamp cannot be replaced
  If the cord is damaged, the lamp shall be destroyed
