Registering Magic Remote Control

How to register the Magic Remote Control

To use the Magic Remote, first pair it with your TV.

  1. Put batteries into the Magic Remote and turn the TV on.
  2. Point the Magic Remote at your TV and press the the remote control.
    I f the TV fails to register the Magic Remote, try again after turning the TV OFF and back ON.

How to deregister the Magic Remote Control

Press the and buttons at the same time, for five seconds, to unpair the Magic Remote with your TV.

Pressing and holding the button will let you cancel and re-register Magic Remote at once.

  • Do not mix new batteries with old batteries. This may cause the batteries to overheat and leak.
  • Failure to match the correct polarities of the battery may cause the battery to burst or leak, resulting in fire, personal injury, or ambient pollution.
  • This apparatus uses batteries. In your community there might be regulations that require you to dispose of these batteries properly due to environmental considerations. Please contact your local authorities for disposal or recycling information.
  • Batteries inside or inside the product shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
  • In Analogue TV and some countries, some remote control buttons may not work.

Using Magic Remote Control

 (POWER) Turns the TV on or off.
You can turn your set top box on or off by adding the set-top box to the universal remote control for your TV.
Number buttons Enters numbers.
9 Accesses the [QUICK HELP].
 
(DASH) Inserts a between numbers such as 2-1 and 2-2.
 Accesses the saved programmes list.
(MORE ACTIONS)* Displays more remote control functions.

QUICK ACCESS ** Edits QUICK ACCESS.

  •    QUICK ACCESS is a feature that allows you to enter a specified app or Live TV directly by pressing and holding the number buttons.

AD/SAP Audio descriptions function will be enabled.
 Adjusts the volume level
(MUTE) Mutes all sounds.
**(MUTE) Accesses the [Accessibility] menu.
 Scrolls through the saved programmes.
** (Voice recognition) Network connection is required to use the voice recognition function. Once the voice display bar is activated on the TV screen, press and hold the button and speak your command out loud.
Accesses the Home menu.
Shows the previous history
(Q. Settings) Accesses the Quick Settings
** (Q. Settings) Displays the [All Settings] menu.
Wheel (OK) Press the center of the button to select a menu.
You can change programmes by using the  button.
(up/down/left/right) Press the up, down, left or right button to scroll the menu. If you press buttons while the pointer is in use, the pointer will disappear from the screen and Magic Remote will operate like a general remote control. To display the pointer on the screen again, shake Magic Remote to the left and right.
**Returns to the previous level.
Clears on-screen displays and returns to last input viewing.
 Shows programme guide.
Streaming Service buttons Connects to the Video Streaming Service.
Changes the input source.
 Accesses the [HOME DASHBOARD].

Important Precautions

Installation

  • The LED TV should be installed near an AC power outlet that can be easily plugged and unplugged.
  • Place the LED TV on a smooth, ?at surface to avoid the LED TV from falling and causing injury, or damaging the TV.
  • If you intend to install a TV wall mount, we recommended that you use an authorized LED TV wall mount. For details, please contact our LED Service Center.
  • The diameter and length of the screen will vary depending on the wall mount model. Failure to use the correct screws may cause the TV to fall or led to internal damage.

Moving

  • Disconnect all cables before moving the LED TV. – Large LED TVs need 2 or more people to move safely. Avoid applying pressure to the LED panel when moving the LED TV. Avoid shaking the TV or exposing it to excessive vibrations.
  • When moving the LED TV to a new location or to carry out repairs, package the TV using the original box and packaging materials.

Ventilation

  • Do not cover the ventilation holes or insert any objects into the case.
  • Keep a space for ventilation around the LED TV.

Wall mounting

In order to ensure proper ventilation & prevent the buildup of dust or dirt:

  • Don’t mount the TV fiat, upside
  • own, or backwards, or side mount the TV.
  • Don’t place the TV on a shell, carpet, bed, or closet.
  • Don’t cover the TV with fabric (such as curtains) or other materials (such as newspapers).

AC power cord

Use the AC power cord and socket according to the instructions below to avoid ?re, electric shock, damage, or personal injury:

  • Insert the plug completely into the AC outlet.
  • Use the LED TV with a 100-240V AC power source.
  • When connecting cables, the AC power cord should be unplugged for safety reasons. Be careful not to trip over cables.
  • Before carrying out work or moving the LED TV, disconnect the AC power cord from the AC power outlet.
  • Keep the AC power cord away from heat.
  • Unplug the AC power plug and clean it regularly. If the plug is covered with dust, and has water vapor, its installation quality may deteriorate, producing a ?re risk.
  • Avoid excessive pinching, bending, modifying or twisting of the AC power cord, otherwise the wires may become exposed or broken.
  • Do not place any heavy objects on the AC power cord.
  • Do not pull the AC power cord when disconnecting the power.
  • Do not connect too many devices on the same AC power outlet.
  • Do not use unsuitable AC power outlets.

Children

  • Do not let children climb the LED TV.
  • Place small objects out of the reach of children in order to avoid swallowing

Optional items

Keep optional accessories or any devices that emit electromagnetic radiations away from the TV in order to avoid image destruction.

In case of the following problems…..

  • The AC power cord is damaged.
  • The AC power outlet is not suitable.
  • The LED TV is damaged due to a drop or impact.
  • Any liquid or solid object falls into the case through an outlet. Turn off the LED TV & immediately unplug the AC power cord. Ask the LED Service Center to dispatch qualified service personnel to investigate.

Usage restrictions

Don’t install/use the LED TV in the following places, environments, or conditions, otherwise the LED TV may malfunction & cause a fire, electric shock, damage, or personal injury.

Places

Outdoors (a direct sunlight), by the sea, in a ship or other vessel, inside a car, in a medical institution, at an unstable location, next to water, or in a place exposed to rain, moisture. If the LED TV is placed in the dressing room of a public bath or spa, it may be damaged by the sulfide in the air.

Environment

Hot, damp, or dusty places, places where insects may enter, places that may be exposed to mechanical shock; next to flammable objects (such as candles). The LED TV should not be exposed to dripping or splashing water, and do not place any items containing liquid such as flower vases on top of the LED TV. Don’t place the LED TV in a damp or dusty place, or in a room with steam or fumes (near a stove or humidifier) to avoid fire, electric shock, or deformation. Do not boil water, heat, cook noodles, or use mosquito coils near the LED TV.

Conditions

Don’t use the LED TV when your hands are wet, when the case is open or with accessories that aren’t authorized by the manufacturer. In the case of a lightning storm, disconnect the LED TV from the AC power cord and AC outlet. Do not install the LED TV in an open-air location. Failure to follow these conditions may result in personal injury or damage, or cause objects to strike the LED TV.

Damage to LED TV screen

Do not throw any objects towards the LED TV, other wise the screen may be broken due to the impact and cause serious injury. In case of damage to the surface of the LED TV, do not touch the LED TV before the AC power cord has been unplugged, otherwise electric shock may occur.

Precautions

  • Watch TV in appropriate lightning conditions. Watching TV in insufficient light or for long periods can damage your eyesight.
  • The screen will get hot when the TV is working. This is normal.

Using and cleaning the screen/case of the LED TV

Before cleaning the LED TV, ensure that the AC power cord is disconnected from the AC power outlet, in order to avoid determination of the casing material or corroding the screen coating, please observe the following precautions.

  • Wipe with a soft cloth to remove any dust on the surface of the screen case. If there is still dust, wipe with a soft cloth that has been moistened with a mild detergent.
  • Do not spray water or detergent directly onto the LED TV, it may drip to the base of the screen or external parts, causing malfunction.
  • Do not use scrub pads, alkaline/acid cleaners, scouring powder, or volatile liquids, such as alcohol, volatile oils, thinners, insecticides. The use of the above materials or prolonged contact with rubber or vinyl products may cause damage to the screen surface & casing materials. It is recommended that you regularly clean the vents to ensure proper ventilation.
  • When adjusting the angle of the LED TV, slowly move the LED TV to prevent it from moving or slipping from the base.

Declaration of Conformity with the requirements of the e-waste (management) Rules, 2016.

Company products are in conformity with the requirements of the reduction of hazardous substances of the E-waste Rules 2016.

The content of hazardous substance with the exemption of the applications listed in SCHEDULE II of the E-waste Rules:

What the Wheelie Bin symbol means: The symbol says don’t dispose your e-waste into the municipal waste collection bins. That’s because these wastes are hazardous in nature and need to be recycled in a special way.

How to dispose this product

Carry it to any of the nearest authorised e-waste collection centre Instructions of handling the product during and after its use and Do’s and Dont’s with respect to handling the products:

Do’s:

  • a. Always look for information on the catalogue with your product for end-of-life equipment handling.
  • b. Ensure that only Authorized Recyclers repair and handle your electronic products.
  • c. Always call Authorized E-waste Recyclers to Dispose products that have reached end-of-life.
  • d. Always drop your used electronic products, batteries or any accessories when they reach the end of their life at your nearest Authorized
  • E-waste Collection Center / Collection Point.
  • e. Wherever possible or as instructed, separate the packaging material according to responsible waste disposal options and sorting for recycling.

  • a. Do not dismantle your electronic Products on your own.
  • b. Do not throw electronics in bins having “Do not Dispose” sign.

Bluetooth

You can play external Bluetooth audio device like Bluetooth headphone, Bluetooth speaker.

Before connecting Bluetooth enable your Bluetooth device.

Step1: Go to setting by pressing setting key in remote.
Step2: Select Sound Out “Bluetooth”.
Step3: Click on Device List .
Step4: Select search for connectable devices press OK.
Step5: select your BT device press OK.

Note- A short audio or video delay may be seen, depending upon your Bluetooth device/devices.
Audio may be delayed after power off Bluetooth device, depending upon your Bluetooth device/devices.

Installing the Stand

  • Be sure to disconnect the A/C power cord before installing a stand or Wall-Mount brackets.
  • The LED display is very fragile, and must be protected at all times when installing the base stand. Be sure that no hard or sharp object, or anything that could scratch or damage the LED display, comes into contact with it. DO NOT exert pressure on the front of the TV at any time because the screen could crack.

Follow the illustrations and instructions below to complete the installation steps:

  1. Carefully place your TV facedown on a soft, fiat surface to prevent damage to the TV or scratching to the screen.
  2. Remove the 2 stands from the accessory bag and then insert the stands into the bottom slots of the TV.
  3. Secure the BASE STAND to the TV with the 4 screws in accessory tightly.

Terms and Conditions

  1. . The warranty does not hold good if the set is not installed & maintained in accordance with the instructions given in the instruction manual and the damage is done due to:
    A. Commercial / Community usage
    B. Unauthorized re-installation, alteration or medication of the equipment.
    C. Damaged caused by accident, theft, riots, acts of god, re and food.
    D. Accidental or internal damages of electrical power, inadequate or actuating power condition.
    E. Damages to equipment incurred while moving the equipment from one location to another or re-installing it after movement.
    F. Product not being used according to instructions in the User Manual.
    G. Any repair carried out by person other than authorized personnel.

  2. The warranty does not hold good if the set is attended / tampered by any unauthorized person/agency and the serial no. of the set is missing, defaced or altered.

  3. Defect arising due to location / signal reception

  4. Any loss or damage to the set during transits is also not covered by this warranty.

  5. This warranty does not cover ghosting or fading effects in the picture caused by the residential location of the purchaser.

  6. The company does not undertake to replace the complete set or reimburse the amount to the purchaser in case of any defect in the set. However, the company shall repair and/or replace the defective parts, if any, of the set during the warranty period, at company authorised service centres/company premises.

  7. In the event of non-availability of replacement panel or Company being unavailable to repair the panel, the Company’s depreciation rules in lieu of repair /
    replacement shall be applicable binding on the customer and the customer shall accept the commercial solution offered. The Depreciation rules
    are applicable on expiry of standard warranty.

  8. Door-to-Door service will be provided within the municipal limit of the city of sale only. Beyond the municipal limits, the purchaser should arrange to deliver the set at the nearest service center at his/her own cost.

  9. Warranty for replaced or repaired parts will be applicable for the remainder of the original warranty period only and the warranty period for such replaced or repaired parts will not be extended. Any service beyond the warranty period will be chargeable as per the policy of the company.

  10. All the replaced and damaged parts will be property of the company under the warranty period and customer will have no objection in it.

  11. Bright dots/ dark dots hereinafter referred as Pixels within permissible limits shall not be treated as defect and will not be covered under warranty. The range of permissible limit of Pixels any where on the panel/ screen is between 4 – 12 dots counted separately for bright and dark dots, each depending upon the screen resolution of the respective product.

  12. The warranty does not extend to the accessories supplied with the set

  13. The company will not be liable for any delay in rectifying the set in the event of non- availability of the spare parts / components for reasons beyond control. In such unlikely situation, company will not be responsible for any losses direct or indirect arising out of any delay.

  14. Company disclaims any and all warranty and responsibility for the tness or working of any third party application on this television..

  15. The company shall not be responsible for any loss or damage caused either to property or human life due to mishandling or inability to use the set. The warranty shall be conned to the rst purchaser of the set only and non-transferable.
