Usage Instructions
- Turn off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker.
- Remove the old fixture and its mounting hardware.
- Unpack the new fixture and lay out all parts in a clean area.
- Thread mounting screws into pre-drilled holes in the circular strap spaced the same distance apart as holes in the back plate. Tighten with nuts. Adjust the length of mounting screws if necessary.
- Attach the circular strap to the junction box using junction box screws. The side of the circular strap marked GND must face out. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig.2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire, connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the circular strap using the green screw provided. Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
- Place the back plate onto mounting screws and secure it with finials. Unscrew the metal ring and place the glass shade onto the socket cup. Secure glass shade with metal ring.
- Install one medium base (E26) bulb up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
- Turn the power back on at the junction box and test the fixture.
