Product Information

The product is a lighting fixture with item number 2896-691, manufactured on August 18, 2021. The fixture requires six candelabra base bulbs with a maximum wattage of 60 watts each, or CFL or LED equivalent bulbs.

Product Usage Instructions

Before installation, shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box to ensure safety. Follow the steps below for proper installation:

  1. Remove the old fixture and mounting hardware.
  2. Unpack the new fixture and lay out all parts in a clean area, taking care not to misplace any small parts.
  3. Determine the desired hanging height and thread rods (F1, F2, F3) to all thread (J) on top of fixture body. Attach canopy (D) by threading onto rod (F1). Feed wires through each rod as you  assemble. If installing with one 6 rod only, remove all thread.
  4. Attach mounting plate (A) to the junction box with mounting screws (B). The side of the mounting plate (A) marked GND and two convex points must face out.
  5. Use the support cable provided to support weight of fixture while wiring. Align the fixture to mounting plate (A) and attach hook (P) on the end of support cable (C) to a slot located on mounting plate (A). Allow the support cable (C) to support weight of the fixture while wiring.
  6. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using the green screw provided. Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
  7. Slide canopy (D) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (E).
  8. Install (6) six candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent in accordance with the fixture specification. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
  9. Screw glass shades (I) onto socket cups (G).
  10. Turn power back on at the junction box and test the fixture.

Note: The illustration provided in Fig. 1 is for installation purposes only. It may or may not be identical to the fixture purchased.
