Product Information and Usage Instructions

The product being installed is Item#2898-691, which is a fixture used for lighting. The installation instructions were last updated on August 18th, 2021.

Installation Instructions

Before beginning the installation process, it is important to shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box. The old fixture including the mounting hardware should be removed. The new fixture should be carefully unpacked, and all the parts laid out in a clean area. The desired hanging height should be determined, and the thread rods (F1, F2 and F3) should be attached to all thread (E) on top of the fixture body. The canopy (C) should be attached by threading onto rod (F1). Wires should be carefully fed through each rod as you assemble. The mounting plate (A) should be attached to the junction box with mounting screws (B). The side of the mounting plate (A) marked GND and two convex points must face out.

Connecting the Wires

The electrical wires should be connected as shown in Fig. 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using the green screw provided.

Finishing the Installation

The canopy (C) should be slid over the mounting plate (A) and secured with screws (D). Three candelabra base bulbs (H) up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) should be installed in accordance with the fixture specification. Glass shades (I) should be screwed onto socket cups (G). After the installation is complete, power should be returned to the junction box, and the fixture should be tested.
