Installation

Note: Do not overtighten any of the screws.
Pinch hazards! Keep hands away from any pinch points created by the mechanical components when moving the arm assembly. Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury.

Mounting Option #1 – Desk Mount
Attach the Pole (B) to the Mounting Surface

  1. Affix the Rubber Pads (F) to the Desk Clamp (C). (Figure 1)
  2. Align the hole, located in the Desk Clamp (C), with the hole in one end of the Pole (B). Ensure the Desk Clamp Peg is aligned with the corresponding hole, located in the Pole (B).
  3. Insert the Pole Screw (G) through the hole, located in the top of the Desk Clamp (C), and into the Pole (B) and tighten, using the 6 mm Hex Key (J), to complete the Desk Pole Assembly.
  4. Loosen the Hand Screw, located on the Desk Pole Assembly, until the Desk Clamp is wider than the thickness of the Mounting Surface (e.g. Desk or Table).
  5. Slide the Desk Pole Assembly Clamp onto the Mounting Surface.
  6. Tighten the Hand Screw, located on the Desk Pole Assembly, by hand, until hand-tight.

Mounting Option #2 – Grommet Mount Assemble the Grommet Mount

  1. Insert the end of a Phillips Head Screwdriver through the top of the Desk Clamp (C) and remove the Screw that fastens Pressure Plate to the Hand Screw. (Figure 2)
  2. Remove the Pressure Plate and Washer, and remove the Hand Screw from the Desk Clamp (C).
  3. Slide the Grommet Clamp Plate (H) over the end of the Hand Screw, completing the Grommet Hand Screw.
  4. Affix the Rubber Pads (N)(x5) to the side of the Grommet Base Plate (E) that does not feature the Peg.
  5. Insert the Grommet Base Plate Peg, into the non-threaded hole, located in the base of the Pole (B) and push to attach the two pieces, completing the Grommet Pole Assembly.
  6. Align the Grommet Pole Assembly over the Grommet Hole.
  7. Insert the Grommet Hand Screw through the bottom of the Grommet Hole and into the Grommet Pole Assembly and tighten, by hand, until hand tight.

Attach the Swivel Arm (A) to the Pole Assembly

  1. Slide one or two Cable Management Clips (D) onto the Pole Assembly. (Figure 3)
  2. Slide the Swivel Arm (A) onto the Pole Assembly, ensuring arrow on the VESA Mount is pointing upwards.
  3. Adjust the height of the Swivel Arm (A) to the desired mounting height for the Laptop and tighten the Tension Adjustment Screw, using the 5 mm Hex Key (I).

Attach the Laptop Tray (K) to the Pole Assembly Attach the Laptop Arms (L)

  1. Unfold the Laptop Holder Tabs, located at the bottom front of the Laptop Tray (C). (Figure 4)
  2. Position the Laptop Arms (L) under the right and left-hand sides of the Laptop Tray (K).
  3. Align the Small Tabs, located on one of the Laptop Arm Clips (M), with the Rectangular Slots, located on the Laptop Arm (L) and the Laptop Tray (K), and gently push the Small Tabs into the Rectangular Slots.
  4. Repeat step 4 to install the second Laptop Arm Clip (M), completing the Laptop Tray Assembly.
  5. Ensure the Laptop Arms (L) will not impede access to any of the Laptop’s Side Ports. To verify clear access, temporarily place the Laptop atop the Laptop Tray Assembly and make adjustments to the position of the Laptop Arms (L) as necessary. Remove the Laptop before proceeding to the next step.

Attach the Laptop Tray Assembly to the Swivel Arm (A)

  1. Insert two Laptop Tray Mounting Screws (N) into the top two holes, located in the back of the Laptop Tray Assembly, and partially tighten, using a Phillips Head Screwdriver. (Figure 5)
  2. Lift the Laptop Tray Assembly and align the two partially tightened Laptop Tray Mounting Screws (N) with the VESA Slots, located on the VESA Mount on the Swivel Arm (A), and slide into place.
  3. Tighten the two Laptop Tray Mounting Screws (N), installed in step 1.
  4. Insert two Laptop Tray Mounting Screws (N) through the bottom two holes, located in the VESA Mount on the Swivel Arm (A), and into the Laptop Tray Assembly and tighten, using a Phillips Head Screwdriver. (Figure 6)

Mount the Laptop

Warning! Ensure the Laptop Mount Assembly has been adjusted to a horizontal position before mounting a Laptop.

  1. Tighten the Tilt Tension Adjustment Screw, located on the side of the VESA Mount on the Swivel Arm (A), and the Swivel Tension Adjustment Screw, located on the top of the VESA Mount on the Swivel Arm (A), using the 6 mm Hex Key (J).
  2. Tighten the Tension Adjustment Screw that fastens the Swivel Arm (A) to the Pole (B), using the 5 mm Hex Key (I).
  3. Unlock the Laptop Arm Lock Tabs, located on the back of the Laptop Mount Assembly, and fully extend the Laptop Arm Clips (L). (Figure 7)
  4. Place a Laptop atop the Laptop Mount Assembly and collapse the Laptop Arms (L) inwards, until they are flush with the sides of the Laptop.
  5. Lock the Laptop Arm Lock Tabs.

Cable Management

  • Route the Laptop Cables through the Integrated Cable Management Clips, located on the Swivel Arm (A), and the Cable Management Clip(s) (D), located on the Pole (B), and to their respective Power/Video Source.(Figure 8)

Adjustment Tool Storage

  • Slide the 5 mm Hex Key (I) and the 6 mm Hex Key (J) into the Tool Slots, located on the Cable Management Clip(s) (D). (Figure 9)

Operation

Note: Remove the Laptop and hold the Laptop Mount Assembly for all adjustments.

Adjust the Tilt Angle of the Laptop Tray Assembly

  • Loosen the Tilt Tension Adjustment Screw, located on the side of the VESA Mount on the Swivel Arm (A), by 1/4 turns until adequately loose, make the desired adjustments to the tilt angle, and tighten the Tilt Adjustment Screw, using the 6 mm Hex Key (J). (Figure 10)

Adjust the Swivel Angle of the Laptop/Monitor VESA Mount Attachment Point

  • Loosen the Swivel Tension Adjustment Screw, located on the top of the VESA Mount on the Swivel Arm (A), by 1/4 turns until adequately loose, make the desired adjustments to the swivel angle, and tighten the Swivel Adjustment Screw, using the 6 mm Hex Key (J).

Articulation Point on the Swivel Arm (A)

  • Adjust the swivel angle of the Laptop Mount Assembly by hand. No tools are required to complete this adjustment.
