ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1)

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

  1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.
  2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.
  3. Secure stem (L) onto all thread (M) on fixture body (O).
  4. Determine the desired hanging height and thread rods (J1, J2, J3 and (K)to all thread on stem (L). Screw loop (I) onto rod (J1). Carefully feed wire through each rod as you assemble.
  5. Thread all thread (C) into canopy loop (F). Secure with lock washer (Y2) and hex nut (Y1).
  6. Thread the other end of all thread (C) into crossbar (A). Secure with lock washer (Y2) and hex nut (Y1). Note: The length of the all thread into the crossbar may be adjusted if necessary.
  7. Attach crossbar (A) to the junction box (not included) with mounting screws (B) (Size: #8-32N*L1”). The side of the mounting plate (A) marked “GND” and two convex points must face out.
  8. Attached quick link (H) to loop (I). Slide lock collar (G), acrylic disk (E) and canopy (D) over quick link (H), then attach quick link (H) to canopy loop (F). Carefully feed wire through loop (I), quick link (H), lock collar (G), acrylic disk (E), canopy (D), canopy loop (F) and all thread (C).

CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)
CONNECTING THE WIRES

  1. Connect the electrical wires as shown in fig 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the crossbar (A) using the green screw provided.
  2. Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.

COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)

  1. Raise the canopy (D) and acrylic disk (E) to the ceiling and secure with lock collar (G). Note: Adjust the canopy to be centered if necessary.
  2. Install (6) six candelabra base bulbs (N) up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification. — DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture. Note: Illustration (Fig. 1) on this manual is for installation purposes only. It may or may not be identical to the fixture purchased.

IMPORTANT: FIXTURE SHOULD BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO ENSURE PROPER WIRING AND INSTALLATION.
