Information

The child restraint belongs to the ‚universal’ category. Approved in accordance withUN Regulation No. 44, series of amendments 04, for general vehicle use and suitable for mounting on most car seats.

Correct installation is possible if the vehicle manufacturer states in the
vehicle’s manualthatthe vehicle is suitable forinstalling a „universal” category child restraint for this age group.

This child restraint has been classified as ‚universal’ under more demanding conditions compared to those applicable to earlier designs that do not contain this information.

If in doubt, consult the device manufacturer or dealer.

Suitable for installation only if type-approved vehicles are equipped with three-point seat belts fitted with a retractor that has been approved in accordance with UN Regulation No. 16 or other equivalent standards.

The product has been approved for ECE R44/04 as a safety seat for weight categories II + III (15 – 36kg). A failure to follow the manual may lead to accidents.
The product must always be used and installed in accordance with this manual.

Important

Please read this manual before the use and keep it. The manual will help you fasten the safety seat properly. An improper installation may expose your child to danger. The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for any hazards arising from improper installation of the safety seat.

  1. This safety seat is intended for weight categories (groups) II-III, which means it can be used by children from 15 to 36 kg (aged 4 to 11).
    • II weight group: 15kg – 25kg
    • III weight group: 22kg – 36kg

  2. The safety seat is intended for vehicles equipped with 3-point seatbelts certified in accordance with the ECG/UN regulations no. 16 or other equivalent standards.

  3. Have a safety seat facing forward. DO NOT place the safety seat on the passenger’s front seat when the passenger’s airbag is active.

  4. Any safety seat belts should be tight, adapted to child’s body and must not be twisted.

  5. Any hip belts should go low so that a pelvis is held properly.

  6. Make sure the belt fasteners have been fastened properly and neatly.
    In case of emergency, thanks to a proper attachment of fasteners, it will be possible to take the child out of the safety seat fast and easily.

  7. The device must be replaced if subject to overloads during accident.

  8. Do not modify this product in any way.

  9. Always make sure the safety seat is not exposed to direct sunlight. Otherwise it may reach high temperatures and in effect burn a child.

  10. Do not leave your child in the safety seat unattended.

  11. Make sure the luggage and otheritems which may cause bodily injuries in case of car accident have been secured properly

  12. Do not use the safety seat without its cover. Do not replace the cover with other than recommended by the manufacturer. The cover is an  integral part of the safety seat.

  13. The safety seat may be used in the car only.

  14. It is forbidden to place any items on the child’s safety seat.

  15. Hard items and plastic parts of the device must be placed and installed in a way that assures that they are not trapped by sliding seat or vehicle door during normal operation of the vehicle.

  16. Do not use load bearing points of contact other than those described in the instructions and marked on the seat.

WARNING! If in doubt about the position of the adult seat belt buckle relative to the primary load-bearing contact points, contact the manufacturer.

Description of installation

  1. Position the safety seat on the car seat.

  2. Put the child so that its back rests against the car seat.

  3. Place the hip part of the safety belt under armrests, secure the belt fastener and tighten the belt. Place the shoulder belt under the armrest from the fastener side. It is important that the belt diagonal is not twisted on the child’s arm (fig. 1).

  4. To take your child out of the safety seat, unfasten the safety belt.

An additional seatbelt will allow you to pull back and lock the car’s cross belt at arm’s height so that it does not cause pressure and possible rubbing on the child’s neck. Thanks to this solution, the journey will be comfortable and safe (fig. 2).

WARNING! The car belt should pass over the shoulder and the chest, not over the neck of the child.

If in doubt as to the correct installation please contact the manufacturer.

Cleaning

  1. Remove and wash manually the cover of the safety seat. Use a mild detergent at the temperature of 30°C.
  2. Follow the instructions on the label. The cover colors may fade if you wash it at the temperature exceeding 30°C. Do not swirl, do not chlorinate and do not dry in an electric clothes dryer.
  3. Clean plastic elements with a water and soap. Do not use aggressive detergents, chemical reagents, bleaches or corrosive substances.
