mxion XP-MULTI WLAN Adapter for XpressNet
Introduction
Dear customer, we strongly recommend that you read these manuals and the
warning notes thoroughly before installing and operating your device. The
device is not a toy (15+).
NOTE: Make sure that the outputs are set to appropriate value before
hooking up any other device. We can’t be responsible For any damage if this is
disregarded.

NOTE: Some functions are only available with the latest firmware. Please
make sure that your device is programmed with the latest firmware.

Hook-Up
Install your device in compliance with the connecting diagrams in this manual.
The device is protected against shorts and excessive loads. However, in case
of a connection error e.g. a short this safety feature can’t work and the
device will be destroyed subsequently.
Make sure that there is no short circuit caused by the mounting screws or
metal.
Connectors
Plug in the module with the supplied cable simply to your head office.
Connection to Digit ax
Due tot he ability of the MULTI both as a LocoNet Master as well as a LocoNet
Slave. How to work as ExpressJet Master and ExpressJet slave. The Multi can to
connect to Digit ax a special connection.
In order for the MULTI to function correctly at Digit ax centers a diode
rectification of the two outer line of the 6 pin cable. A diode is 1N4001, for
example. After diodes is 1+6 pin connected. 
Product description
The mXion XP-MULTI is a universal WLAN adapter for all ExpressJet and LocoNet
command stations. He can also act as a translator between LocoNet and
ExpressJet work so that you can use LocoNet devices to our ExpressJet command
station MZSpro. Or you can connect ExpressJet to LocoNet panels. With this
little module it is possible to Z21 App, Multimaus WLAN and a PC integration
(also PC control with RocRail®). The controller can be wireless via the Z21
app or the WLANMAUS take place (or PC
also automatic operation). So equip yours central with wireless, even if this
itself offers no possibility. Ideal for our booster control panels combi.
However, the high-light of the wireless adapter is the integrated full-access
triple buffer WLAN module. That offers tremendous speed and many

WLAN integration

There are 2 ways to connect to wifi modules to communicate.

The first mode is the direct connection, that means you have to be in the WLAN of the device log in. Choose on the phone or in the Multimaus WLAN the network mXion MZSpro MULTI and enter he password MDELEC1207. Afterwards you mobile phone will be connected to the WLAN. Set now the new IP address in the Multimaus WLAN (Settings -> WLAN -> Z21-IP-ADRESS) or set App (Settings -> Z21 Settings) to 192.168.111.111.

You can now control your trains and switches. More is not necessary. Pay attention to the cell phone that you stay in the wifi when a message comes, press „no“ to join the

The second mode is the client intrusion, that means you insert the module into your home WLAN and can it over your normal network control. Your mobile phone will continue to do so internet, but control is only possible if you are inside the WLAN. Advantage is the better control by walls.

The connection takes place via the integrated web server. There can be some settings be made. Follow the following steps for integration into your WLAN.

Important here is the client mode. This modus is the second one mentioned above. This is necessary if you have the module in the want to switch on your own WLAN.

Give the SSID (network name) of your home WLAN one as well as your password. DHCP can be chosen (value = 1) if the IP is in dyn. should be awarded (only if necessary).

Use RFM radio to set the channel and the tape on which the radio feedback modules run by us (Art-700x) if available. The same values must also be in the modules be set (see instructions BM, RBM).

When you have finished everything, click to „send“ and wait for the system has updated. You then see the IP of the system included in the App or Multimaus WLAN can be entered.
NOTE:
If you like the e.g. IP address of the web server and enter your home network
data connects the central office directly with your home network. You can then
control directly. Join the Multimaus WLAN also with your home network.
However, select the direct connection (you connect the mobile phone or
MultimausWLAN directly with the central), you need the IP of the web server in
the app (Settings -> Z21 Settings) or in the Multimaus (Settings -> WLAN ->
Z21-IP-ADRESS) to the webserver (192.196.111.111), so that you can control!

NOTE: In case you intend to utilize this device below freezing temperatures, make sure it was stored in a heated environment before operation to prevent the generation of condensed water. During operation is sufficient to prevent condensed water.
Warranty, Service, Support
micron-dynamics warrants this product against defects in materials and
workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase. Other countries
might have different legal warranty situations. Normal wear and tear, consumer
modifications as well as improper use or installation are not covered.
Peripheral component damage is not covered by this warranty. Valid warrants
claims will be serviced without charge within the warranty period. For
warranty service please return the product to the manufacturer. Return
shipping charges are not covered by micron-dynamics. Please include your proof

updates you can do with our updater or you can send us the product, we update
