Usage Instructions

Warm Therapy:

Apply a warm compress to relieve clogged ducts and swelling, and before feeding to help milk flow.
It can also be used before or during a pumping session, soothe swollen and sore breasts, and promote milk secretion.

Cold Therapy:

To relieve pain and swelling, use cold therapy to lower the temperature.

Cooling in the Freezer:

Place the compress in the freezer for approximately 2 hours. Ensure the temperature is right before use. Do not heat the pack outside the freezer or put the warm compress in the freezer. The product should be at room temperature to avoid damage. Always check the temperature before application. Dry after each use and store in a cool place.

FAQs

Q: Can the compress packs be microwaved for heating?

A: No, do not heat the pack outside of the freezer. Follow the instructions provided for cooling in the freezer.

Q: Can children use the warm compress?

A: The warm compress is intended for adults only. Use the cold therapy option for children.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Thank you for purchasing the NENO PERSE hot and cold pack. The set contains two compresses for warm (for adults) and cold therapy (for adults and children). Please read the instructions below before use

PRECAUTIONS

The product is intended for external use.
The temperature of the pack should be checked before use. A single application should not last longer than 20 minutes.
Do not use the product heated for longer than recommended. Excessive heating or prolonged contact with the skin may cause skin damage, including burns.
When heated, the compress should be warm to the touch, but not hot.
Do not use for injuries, or sprains if inflammatory exudate remains after 24 hours.
Do not use if the skin is unable to respond properly to temperature (e.g. under local anesthesia or taking painkillers).
Do not use it in infants.
Do not use it for injuries with inflammation.
Do not apply directly to skin or damaged skin with bleeding.
The product is not a toy, keep it away from children.
Clean with mild soap and water.
It is normal for the pack to expand slightly when heated for the recommended time.
If the pack is heated for longer than the recommended time and it breaks or inflates heavily, turn off the microwave oven immediately. Then wait for it to cool down before discarding it.
If in doubt or if the packaging shows any signs of deformation, it should be discarded. Packaging that has been overheated should never be reused.
If you have circulation problems, consult your doctor before use.
Do not fall asleep while applying the pack.
Do not pierce the packaging with a sharp object. Do not deliberately press with a heavy object to damage. Do not hit the product or swallow the contents.
In case of extreme, prolonged, or chronic pain, contact your doctor.
If the compress is damaged, torn, or ruptured, discontinue use and dispose of the contents in the bin.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin if the packaging breaks. In case of contact, flush with clean water. If the packaging is punctured or opened and the contents are accidentally swallowed, drink plenty of water.
Store in a dry, well-ventilated, and cool place where the relative humidity does not exceed 80%.

METHOD OF USE AND INTENDED PURPOSE

Apply warmly to relieve clogged ducts and also in case of swelling and just before feeding to help the milk flow. It can also be used before or during a pumping session. In addition, it can soothe swollen and sore breasts and promote milk secretion. Use cold therapy to relieve pain and swelling to lower the temperature.

Heating in the microwave:

Place one piece in the microwave oven flat.
Note: before first use, place the compress in the microwave for half the time listed below. Check that the temperature is right. Extend the process if necessary. The heating time given is a reference time. The time may vary and should be adjusted according to the power and parameters of the individual microwave oven.
700 WAT – 88 seconds
1000 WAT – 65 seconds
1250 WAT – 45 seconds

Each pack should be heated separately. Check the temperature of the pack each time before use. If necessary, heat the pack for an additional 5 seconds.

Heating in a water bath:

Fill a large vessel with enough water to completely submerge the pack without touching the bottom of the vessel. Bring the water to the boil and remove the vessel from the heating surface. Do not immerse the pack while the water is being heated. Use tongs, for example, to immerse and remove the pack from the water. Do not leave the pack unattended while it is heating. Immerse the pack for 2 minutes. If the pack has not reached the desired temperature, immerse again(in the same water) for an additional minute. Dry the pack with a towel, for example, before applying it to the body. You can also use it wrapped in a towel if the temperature is too high. Do not allow the packaging to come into prolonged contact with the pot or direct heat source. Excessive contact may damage the pack. Dry the pack before applying it to the body, e.g. with a towel.
NOTE: before each use, the product must be checked for signs of damage or leakage. If damage is found, discontinue use. Check the temperature of the pack before each use and allow to cool if necessary.

Cooling in the freezer:

Place in the freezer for approximately 2 hours. Make sure the temperature is right before use. NOTE: Do not heat the pack out of the freezer and do not put the warm compress in the freezer. The product should be at room temperature. There is a risk of damaging the product. NOTE: Always check the temperature of the pack before application. For external use only Dry after each use and store in a cool place.
