Thank you for purchasing our Neno Ivo baby monitor.
With this device you can monitor your child’s sleep or play in another room in real time. Communication between the transmitter and receiver takes place via radio waves with a maximum distance of 500m (in open spaces). The digital connection ensures interference-free data transmission. The camera is equipped with IR LEDs that switch on automatically when light levels are insufficient. The two-way intercom allows you to talk to your child. You can also check the temperature and humidity in your child’s room at any time, thanks to the built-in sensor. The monitor has a built-in battery so you can always have it with you. Please read this user manual carefully before using the product.

CAUTION: Leave the charging cable in a safe place (position) out of the reach of the child. Failure to do so may put the child at risk of suffocation or other dangerous situations (e.g. electric shock).

BEFORE USE

The Neno Ivo baby monitor complies with all relevant EMF standards and is safe to use when used as described in the user guide.
In particular, pay attention to the following points:

  1. Installation of the device must be carried out by an adult. Keep small parts away from children during installation.
  2. This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with the device.
  3. A baby monitor cannot fully replace adult supervision.
  4. Do not place the camera or cables inside the cot or within reach of children. Leave a minimum distance of 1 m.
  5. Keep cables out of the reach of children.
  6. Do not keep the camera near water or heat sources.
  7. Use only the original parts supplied with the product.
  8. Do not touch the contacts of the power socket with sharp or metallic objects.
  9. Do not attempt to open the device’s covers.

ATTENTION: The range of the device is affected by external factors (e.g. walls, high-voltage lines, other electrical equipment), so the actual range may be less than specified.

02. INSTALLATION OF THE DEVICE

Before mounting the camera, check the preview to ensure that the frame fits and covers the required view.
Check for correct signal reception. If necessary, move the camera to get a better signal.

  1. Connect the power supply to the camera and power source.
  2. Connect the power cable to the monitor and power source, then switch on the screen. It is recommended to fully charge the battery before first use.
  3. Place the camera in a convenient location. The camera can be stood, mounted on a flexible bracket or hung using the mounting kit. Disconnect the power supply before mounting and reconnect after correct installation.
  4. Assembly methods:

Method 1: Place the camera on a flat, dry surface. SEE FIG.C
Method 2: The product comes with a kit with which you will mount the camera on the wall. Using screws and dowels, screw the cap onto the wall and then screw the camera onto the thread. Check that the camera is correctly fixed and will not fall out of the thread. SEE FIG.D
Method 3: A flexible bracket is included with the product, with which you mount the camera in the location of your choice. Wind the bracket and then screw the camera onto the thread. Check that the camera is correctly attached and will not fall out of the thread. SEE FIG.E

CAUTION: Ensure that the camera and power cable are mounted out of the reach of the child and do not create a hazard. Poor mounting can lead, for example, to a child being strangled by the cable.

05. PAIRING THE CAMERA WITH THE RECEIVER

The monitor and camera are paired with each other at the factory. They do not need to be paired with each other again unless there has been a loss of connection.
In this case, follow the instructions:

  1. Press the MENU button to enter the main menu.
  2. Select the “camera” icon and press “OK”.
  3. Press “OK” again to start pairing.
  4. You now have 30 seconds to hold down the pairing button on the camera until you hear a beep, about 3 seconds.
  5. After successful pairing, the receiver will return to the home screen and display the image from the paired camera.

06. USE OF THE DEVICE

A. CAMERA HEAD CONTROL
When viewing the camera, you can rotate the head using the control buttons on the receiver within the range of head movement.

B. ZOOM
While viewing the camera, press the “Zoom” button on the monitor to zoom in on the preview image 2 or 4 times. Pressing the button again will increase the magnification and the next one will restore the initial state.

C. LULLABIES
While viewing the camera, press the “Lullabies” button on the monitor to switch them on. Pressing again will turn the melodies off.

D. TWO-WAY COMMUNICATION
While viewing the camera, press and hold the “Two-way communication” button on the monitor while speaking.

E. VOLUME SETTINGS
While viewing the camera, press the “OK” button and then use the up and down control buttons to adjust the preferred volume. The current level is displayed in the lower left corner of the receiver.

F. DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS SETTINGS
While viewing the camera, press the “OK” button and then use the left and right control buttons to adjust the preferred brightness. The current level is displayed in the lower right corner of the receiver.

G. MAIN MENU
Press the “MENU” button to enter the main menu, which contains 8 items:

• Camera
Press the “OK” button to proceed to pairing and disconnecting the camera.
If the camera is paired, you can disconnect it by holding the “OK” button for about 5 seconds.
If the camera is not connected to the receiver, press the “OK” button on the receiver and then press and hold the pairing button for 5 seconds within 30 seconds.

• Feeding reminder
Press the ‘OK’ button to access the feeding reminder option.
Use the right and left control buttons to select the reminder frequency. Once selected, press the right button until you get to the time, then set it using the down and up buttons.
After setting the time, press the “Menu and return” button to return to the Main Menu. The settings will be saved automatically.

• Event alarm
Press the ‘OK’ button to access the alarm options.
Select the sensitivity of the cry alarms using the right and left control buttons and confirm the preferred level using the ‘OK’ button.
Press the down control to select the sensitivity for motion detection and then the sensitivity level using the right and left control buttons. Confirm the level using the “OK” button.
Press the down control and then select the alarm volume using the right and left control buttons.

Once set, press the ‘Menu and Return’ button to return to the Main Menu.

• Temperature and humidity alarm
Press the ‘OK’ button to access the alarm options.
Select the minimum temperature using the up and down control buttons. Then press the right control button and similarly set the maximum sensitivity of the cry alarms using the right and left control buttons and confirm the preferred level using the ‘OK’ button.
Then use the control button right left to select and set the minimum and maximum humidity at the camera site analogously.
You can also select the temperature unit by confirming with the ‘OK’ button once selected. And you can also disable the alarms completely.
Once set, press the ‘Menu and Return’ button to return to the Main Menu.

• Lullabies
Press the ‘OK’ button to access the alarm options.
Use the control buttons to select the lullaby you wish to play, the possible option to repeat or loop the song, and the volume. Once selected, confirm each change with the “OK” button.

• Display settings
Press the ‘OK’ button to access the display setting options.
Use the right and left control buttons to select the screen refresh rate to reduce flicker or turn this function off. Confirm the change with the “OK” button.
Press the control down to select the time after which the receiver enters sleep mode when inactive. Confirm the change with the “OK” button.
Press the down control to select the brightness of the screen. Use the right and left control buttons to adjust the brightness and then confirm the change with the “OK” button.
Once set, press the ‘Menu and Return’ button to return to the Main Menu.

• Service
Press the ‘OK’ button to check the address of the website, where you will find contact details as well as a form to make a complaint.
Press the “Menu and Return” button to return to the Main Menu.

• System settings
Press the “OK” button to enter the system settings.
Press the “OK” button again to select the menu language. Select the language using the control arrows.
There are 8 languages to choose from: Polish, English, German, French, Czech, Spanish, Italian, Dutch. Confirm your choice by pressing the “OK” button. Then press the “Menu and back” button.
Press the control button to the right, then press the “OK” button to set the date, time and time zone.
Once the data has been set, confirm by selecting the “Save” button and pressing the “OK” button. Then press the “Menu and back” button.
Press the control button to the right and then press the “OK” button to check the model, firmware version, serial number or you can also restart the camera or reset it already. To select the restart or reset function, use the left and right control buttons to select the function and then confirm with the “OK” button. A reset requires confirmation again.
Press the control button to the right and then press the “OK” button to check the hardware version, software version, firmware version or you can also reset the receiver. To select the reset function, press the “OK” button twice and then confirm again by selecting “YES”.

07. PAIRING THE CAMERA WITH THE APP

  1. Download the application – SEE FIG. H
    Android/iOS: download the Tuya Smart app in the Google Play/ App Store
    H1 – download on Google Play
    H2 – download in the App Store

  2. Registration and login
    Launch the app on your smartphone. Register and then log in to the account you have created.

  3. Add device
    • Connect the camera to the power supply and wait until you hear an audible notification.
    • Make sure the phone is connected to the Wi-Fi network to which the device will be connected.
    • Note: a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network connection is required for the camera to operate correctly. The camera does not support 5 GHz networks.
    • Press the (+) symbol in the top right corner of the application interface or select “Add device”.
    • From the product categories, select “Camera and lock” and then “Wireless camera (Wi-Fi)”.
    • In the top right corner, select the camera’s network connection mode “QR code for camera” and proceed to the next step.
    • Once you have selected the connection mode, follow the instructions in the app.

  4. Deletion of the device
    • On the home screen, hold down the name of any of the devices you have added. Then select one or more devices you want to delete and click the recycle bin icon.

NOTE: After pairing the camera with the application, the camera and the receiver may disconnect. In this case, the camera must be paired with the receiver again.

communication (Speak) – depending on the selected settings, the button is responsible for one-way or two-way audio communication. For one-way communication, press the button; when two-way communication is selected in the application settings, hold down the button to communicate using the unit’s built-in speakers. SEE FIG. J.3

09. SETTINGS

You can access the settings by clicking on the three dots icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

a. Device information
Information on the device owner’s account, the IP address the camera is connected to, the device ID, time zone and Wi-Fi signal strength.

b. Press to start scenes
Switch previews between other devices added to the Tuya app.

c. Hibernation
Hibernation of the camera.

d. Basic function settings
Settings: control/reverse screen/audio mode – we recommend two-way audio/Anti- flicker

e. IR night vision function

Settings for IR night-vision operation – on/off or automatic mode.

f. Alarm detection settings
Activation/deactivation of motion detection, tracking and in-app notifications.

g. Sound
Adjust the volume of the device.

h. Alarm detection settings
Motion alarm sensitivity settings/Cry alarm sensitivity settings/Alarm settings/Alarm siren

i. Phone notifications
Access to shopping on the Tuya app.

j. SMS notifications
Access to shopping on the Tuya app.

k. Offline notifications

10. CALL BUTTON

To make a call using the camera, press the ‘Call’ button on the camera for about 2 seconds and it will make the call using the Tuya app on the phone paired with the camera.
