Maxxima MEW-RS100W Single Pole Combination Rocker Light Switch
WARNINGS

CAUTIONS
- To ensure personal safety, proper grounding of the electrical fixture is required.
- The fixture must be wired in accordance with the National Electric Code and applicable local codes or ordinances.
SPECIFICATION
- 15A 60Hz 120VAC – 1800W Max – Separate Feed Wiring Capable
- Maximum Tightening Torque: 14 in-lbs (1.6 Nm)
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Tools Needed: Screwdriver, wire nuts, electrical tape.
If you are replacing an existing fixture, remove and disconnect the old
fixture first.
Note: For Separate Feed and/or Switched Outlet Configuration wiring, the
break-off fin located in between the dark-colored screws should be removed
before wiring. Use a Flat Head screwdriver to bend the fin until it breaks
off.
- Shut off power at the circuit breaker or fuse. See Warning.
- Remove insulation from wires (approximately 3/8″ to 5/8″). The HOT terminals have dark-colored screws. Loop each wire around its respective terminal screw per the diagram below.
- Fasten Screws securely. Terminal screws accept up to #12AWG copper or copper-clad wire
- Mount the switch using the long mounting screws provided. Attach the wall plate.
- Restore power at the circuit breaker or fuse. See Warning.

products listed are free from defects in material and/or workmanship only.
Maxxima will replace any warrantied product with the original
consumer/purchaser if the product fails because of defects due to workmanship
and/or materials within the limited warranty period. A limited warranty is not
transferable and applies to the original installation of the Maxxima product.
