INSTRUCTIONS
-
Ensure that power has been turned off by switching the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse from the fuse panel.
-
Connect the fixtures to the stakes and route the wiring through the channel so the wires are hidden.
-
Layout the fixtures at the desired locations.
-
Run main (12-24V) low voltage cable to the farthest fixture.
-
At each fixture, cut the main power wire into two parts. Separate the main power cords into two parts from the ends (figure 1).
-
Strip approximately 1 inch of insulation off the ends and twist the ends of the wires in order to make it easier to connect to the fixture wires (figure 2).
-
The wires coming from the fixture are non-polarized, ensuring the LED will function correctly whether one wire is connected to white and the other to black, or vice versa. Using the supplied wire nuts, connect the same input/output wire from the main low voltage power source together with one wire from the fixture together. Repeat this step for the second set of wires. If necessary, secure the connection with electrical tape as illustrated in Figure 3.
-
Dig about a 6” deep trench to bury the cable and extra wires in.
-
Installation is complete. Restore power, lights are now operational.
