Maxxima MRL-S61505 Canless Recessed LED Downlight
Product Information
The 6 Round and Square Anti-Glare is a ceiling fixture that comes in four variants: MRL-S61505, MRL-S61505B, MRL-S61505S, MRL-S61505SB. It has a CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) selector switch that allows you to change the color temperature of the light to any of the five settings available. The product comes with a 3-year limited warranty.
Product Usage Instructions
- Turn off power by switching the circuit breaker to the off position or by removing the fuse from the fuse panel.
- Mark the center point of where the fixture will be located, using the provided template cut the required hole shown in figure 1 which is 140mm or approximately 5.5 inches
- Open the junction box and remove the desired knockout. Attach a twin screw clamp connector (or similar).
- Insert the supply wire through the twin screw clamp connector (or similar) shown in figure 2a.
- Connect the hot (black) wire to the black wire, the neutral (white) wire to the white wire, and the ground (green/bare copper) wire to the green wire using the provided wire nuts shown in figure 2.
- (Optional) Using the selector switch on the side of the metal junction box, change the CCT to any of the five settings (CCT settings are 2700K/3000K/3500K/4000K/5000K).
- Put all of the wires into the metal junction box and close it. (Optional) Use a screw (not provided) to mount the junction box using the holes in the back of the junction box.
- Connect the male output connector from the junction box with the female connector from the fixture and tighten the locking nut.
- To insert the fixture into the hole, hold the two spring clips in the vertical position until the springs are past the top of the ceiling material shown in figure 4.
- Push the fixture up until flush with the ceiling shown in figure 5.
- Restore power and the fixture is now operational.
- Installation is now complete, restore power and the fixture is now operational.

WARNINGS
- Risk of electric shock – Disconnect power at the source before installation.
- If you are unsure about the installation or the maintenance of the fixture, please consult an electrician.
- Do not make or alter any holes in the wiring enclosure or modify any electrical componentry.
CAUTIONS
- The fixture must be wired in accordance with the National Electric Code (N.E.C) standards and any applicable local codes or ordinances.
- Supply conductors must at least be rated for 90°C/194°F.
- This fixture is designed for use with 120Vac, 50/60Hz only.

- 6a. Optional – using a screw (not provided), the junction box can be mounted using the holes in the back of the junction box.
- Connect the male output connector from the junction box with the female connector from the fixture and tighten the locking nut.
- To insert the fixture into the hole, hold the two spring clips in the vertical postion until the springs are past the top of the ceiling material shown in figure 4.
- Push the fixture up until flush with the ceiling shown in figure 5.
- Installation is now complete, restore power and the fixture is now operational.
3 YEAR WARRANTY
Maxxima extends a 3 year limited warranty to the original purchase that the products listed are free from defects in material and/or workmanship only. Maxxima will replace any warrantied product to the original consumer/purchaser if the product fails because of defects due to workmanship and/or materials within the limited warranty period. Limited warranty is not transferable and applies to the original installation of the Maxxima product.
