Product Usage Instructions

Installation for 3 inch post:

1. Remove contents from packaging.
2. Choose your desired installation location ensuring maximum direct sunlight exposure.
3. Open the battery cover underneath the fitting and remove the plastic tab to activate the fitting.
4. Fix the Post Top directly on top of your post without using the base piece and secure with the supplied screws.

Installation for 4 inch post:

1. Follow Steps 1-3 above.
2. Install the mounting base to the top of your post using the supplied screws.
3. Place your Post Top onto the mounting base and secure with the screws on either side.

Note: Ensure maximum direct sunlight exposure for efficient charging, especially on overcast/cloudy days to prevent early light shutdown.

FAQ

Troubleshooting

• Phenomenon: Light won’t turn on
• Cause: Switch hasn’t been turned on
• Inspection Method: Determine switch position
• Solution: Turn the switch on
• Phenomenon: Light only stays on for a short amount of time
• Cause: Battery has run flat
• Inspection Method: Charge the light in direct sunlight for 1-2 days
• Solution: Charge the battery in direct sunlight for 1-2 days with the switch off, then check again

Installation to suit 3 inch post

1. Remove contents from packaging

2. Choose your desired installation location. Please ensure that you situate your fitting where it will receive maximum direct exposure to sunlight throughout the day.

3. Open the battery cover on the underside of the fitting and remove the plastic tab. This will activate your fitting.

4. Without using the base piece, fix the Post Top directly on top of your post and secure using the supplied fixing screws.
   Installation to suit 4 inch post

5. Follow Steps 1-3 above

6. Install the mounting base to the top of your post using the supplied screws.

7. Then place your Post Top onto the mounting base and secure with the screws on either side.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Please ensure you place your light in a location where it can achieve a minimum of 6HRS DIRECT SUNLIGHT exposure.
• Be aware that on overcast/cloudy days, the solar panel will still charge. However, not as efficiently as a sunny day, so the battery may not reach full capacity. Therefore, your light may turn off earlier than specified.
• It’s best not to install these lights underneath a street light, porch light etc. because this may stop the automatic day-night sensor triggering and result in your lights not turning on.
