Product Usage Instructions
Installation:
- Remove contents from packaging.
- To locate the ON/OFF switch, twist the solar panel head off the fitting and flip upside down (See FIGURE 1).
- Switch your fitting into the ON position.
- Decide on your installation process, either Surface mount or Spike mount.
- For Surface Mount:
- Remove molded plastic surface mount base from the bottom of the post and fix in your desired location.
- Slide post over the top and twist clockwise to secure.
- For Spike Mount:
- Remove spike & re-install stainless steel trim.
- Press spike into the underside of the bollard to enable you to spike the light into soil or grass.
Important Notes:
- Place the solar panel where it can achieve a minimum of 6 hours of direct sunlight.
- On overcast/cloudy days, the solar panel will still charge but not as efficiently.
- Avoid installing lights underneath street lights or porch lights to ensure proper day-night sensor functionality.
Troubleshooting:
- Phenomenon: Light won’t turn on.
- Cause: Switch hasn’t been turned on.
- Solution: Determine switch position and turn it on.
- Phenomenon: The light only stays on for a short amount of time.
- Cause: Battery issues like low battery or failure.
- Solution: Charge the light in direct sunlight for 1-2 days or replace the battery as needed.
- Final Step: Remove protective membrane from solar panel & your light is now ready for use.

Q: How do I know if my battery needs replacement?
A: If after charging in direct sunlight for 1-2 days the light still doesn’t stay on for an adequate period, contact customer service for battery replacement. -

A: It is recommended to install the light where it can receive a minimum of 6 hours of direct sunlight for optimal performance.

INSTALLATION METHOD

Remove contents from packaging.

To locate the “ON/OFF” switch, twist the solar panel head off the fitting and flip upside down (See in FIGURE 1).

Switch your fitting into “ON” position.

Decide on your installation process, either Surface mount or Spike mount.

Locate and use the following accessories:

(A) Surface Mount
Remove molded plastic surface mount base from the bottom of the post and fix in your desired location. Then slide post over the top and twist clock-wise to secure. -
(B) Spike Mount
Remove spike & re-install stainless steel trim, press spike into the underside of the bollard to enable you to spike the light into soil or grass
NOTE: The Spike Mount is located INSIDE the bollard post. The piece inside the bottom must be inverted (See FIGURE 2)

Remove protective membrane from solar panel & your light is now ready for use.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Please ensure you place your solar panel in a location where it can achieve a minimum of 6HRS DIRECT SUNLIGHT
- Be aware that on overcast/cloudy days, the solar panel will still charge. However, not as efficiently as a sunny day, so the battery may not reach full capacity. Therefore, your light may turn off earlier than specified
- It’s best not to install these lights underneath a street light, porch light etc. because this may stop the automatic day-night sensor triggering and result in your lights not turning on
