Safety Information
- The installation and operation of this luminaire must comply with national safety regulations. Only a qualified electrician should perform the installation and commissioning.
- Ensure the operating device meets the requirements specified in EN 61347-2-13. The maximum idle voltage should be 60 V DC conforming to SELV or SELV equivalent.
Installation
- LED components are sensitive; avoid direct contact with the light output opening during installation or relamping.
- To operate the luminaire, you need to order one of the BEGA Installation components specified for this product. Refer to the instructions for the selected BEGA installation component.

Installation

- Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
- To operate this luminaire one of the following additional BEGA Installation components must be ordered – accessories.

Please note:
- The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use or installation if no BEGA installation component is used to install this BEGA system pendant luminaire.
- Replacing the LED module
- The designation of the LED module is noted on a separate label in the luminaire or on the underside of the specific LED module.
- It is also listed in the spare parts overview at the end of these instructions for use.
- The light color and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted. The module can be replaced by a qualified person using commercially available tools.
- Disconnect the system from the power supply.
- Loosen the canopy/canopy cover and push it downward on the luminaire cable.
- Remove the connecting wires of the luminaire cable inside the canopy and unhook the hanger of the pendant luminaire from the mounting plate / installation frame.
- Unfasten the steel wire of the luminaire cable.
- Remove the strain reliever from the luminaire hanger.
- Loosen the knurled nut and remove the strain reliever via the luminaire cable.
- Remove the canopy/canopy cover.
- Undo the knob in the funnel-shaped upper part of the housing by turning anti-clockwise.
- Remove the knob and upper part of the housing via the luminaire cable.
- Detach the synthetic cover and remove it via the luminaire cable.
- Loosen the outer 2 Torx screws (T 10) of the housing tube.
- Remove the connecting wires of the LED module strip from the terminals and remove the housing tube complete with the LED module (module strip) via the luminaire cable.
- Guide the replacement LED module (housing tube with module strip) over the luminaire cable.
- Fasten the housing tube with the LED module strip onto the luminaire base using 2 Torx screws (T 10).
- Connect the connecting wires of the module strip to the terminals.
- Please follow the installation instructions for the new LED module.
- Guide the synthetic cover over the luminaire cable onto the luminaire base.
- A defective luminaire cover must be replaced.
- Guide the funnel-shaped upper part of the housing and knob over the luminaire cable onto the synthetic cover and tighten the knob in a clockwise direction.
- IMPORTANT: The luminaire cable must first be guided through the borehole on the underside of the canopy.
- Install the strain reliever back onto the luminaire cable and clip the strain reliever into the luminaire hanger.
- Refasten the steel wire of the luminaire cable.
- Hook the hanger of the pendant luminaire in the mounting plate/installation frame and reconnect the wires of the luminaire cable in the canopy.
- Attach the canopy/canopy cover to the ceiling.
- Fine adjustment of the pendant luminaire
- Undo the knob in the funnel-shaped upper part of the housing by turning it anti-clockwise to enable the fine adjustment of the pendant luminaire along its horizontal axis.
- Hold the bottom edge of the pendant luminaire with one hand and simultaneously turn the synthetic cover along its vertical axis with the other hand until the luminaire body is aligned horizontally.
- Tighten the knob in the funnel-shaped upper part of the housing by turning it in a clockwise direction.
Cleaning Maintenance
- Clean the luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt.
