GO/MUV Transmitter Programming
There are two methods for programming new transmitters from transmitters that
are already programmed and working. If method 1 doesn’t work, please try
method 2.
If neither work, please refer to the instructions of your receiver.
Note: It is also possible that your receiver could be securely managed by the
installer or a management company, contact them directly if you believe this
is the case.
Radio Programming (Method 1)
- Take a working transmitter and your new transmitters to within a few metres of the receiver.
- On the working transmitter, press both buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds (or the top 2 buttons if you have a 4 button remote).
- This puts the receiver into programming mode, you should hear a beep from the receiver.
- Within 10 seconds, press the top button on your new transmitter (you should hear a beep from the receiver).
- If you have multiple new transmitters to program, press the top buttons of each one after another, no need to repeat steps 1-3 for each.
- When finished, wait 10 seconds and you should hear 2 beeps from the receiver.
- Test your new remotes.
Side Programming (Method 2)
A = Existing Transmitter
B = New Transmitter to be programmed
Place both transmitters next to each other as shown on a non-metallic surface,
a few metres away from the receiver.
- Press button 1 on transmitter A and keep it pressed down.
- Press down both buttons on transmitter B and keep them pressed until the LEDs flash 3 times.
- Press button 1 on transmitter B, the receiver will beep.
- Wait 10 seconds for the receiver to come out of programming mode; it will then be fully functional.
