Product Usage Instructions
Safety Precautions:
The installation and operation of this luminaire must comply with national
safety regulations. Only a qualified electrician should carry out installation
and commissioning. The manufacturer is not liable for damage due to improper
use or installation. Any modifications should be done by authorized personnel.
Overvoltage Protection:
The electronic components in the luminaire are protected against
overvoltage as per DIN EN 61547. For added protection against transients,
consider using separate overvoltage protection components available on our
website.
Installation:
When mounting or dismantling, maintain a minimum distance of 250 mm between
the removable cap and the wall. Avoid direct contact with the LED light output
opening during installation or relamping.

Application
Wall luminaire · indoor luminaire made of hand-blown opal glass and metal
housing, for all lighting tasks in interior applications.
They are ideal for places where a soft and uniform lighting distribution is
required. Luminaire with a high protection class.

safety regulations. Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by
a qualified electrician. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage
caused by improper use or installation. If subsequent modifications are made
to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications shall be
considered the manufacturer.

Insulation housing
Installation
- For mounting and dismantling please keep a minimum distance of 250 mm between the removable cap and the wall.
- LEDs are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
Open luminaire:
- Loosen the knob, and remove the cap and glass.
- Drill mounting holes into the mounting surface – spacing 275 mm.
- For the mains supply connecting open the insulation housing – pull open – strip mains supply cable max. 15 mm and lead it into the insulation housing – see sketch.
- Make earth conductor connection and electrical connection.
- Connect both parts of the insulation housing until they audibly engage.
- The outer coating of the cable has to be fully enclosed by the compression nipple.
- Fix the luminaire with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface. Place glass into the luminaire housing, close the luminaire with the cap and screw in the knob into the cap.
Replacement of the LED module
- The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.
- The light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted. The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools.
- Disconnect the system.
- Loosen the lateral knob, remove the cap and take out the glass.
- Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module.
- The defective glass must be replaced.
- Insert glass into luminaire housing, close luminaire with the cap and screw in knob into the cap.
