OVERVIEW

Play/Pause button
• In DAB/FM mode, press to mute.
• In Bluetooth® mode, press to play or pause music.
• Under the Menu list, press to select and confirm
Menu button
• Press and hold to enter in DAB, FM or Bluetooth® menu options.
• In DAB mode, short press to see additional information.
• Under the Menu list, press to go back to the previous interface.
Up/ Down button
• In DAB mode, press to browse the stations list.
• In FM mode, press and hold to scan the band for stations.
• In Bluetooth mode, press to play previous or next track.
• Under the Menu list, press to navigate, scroll or adjust.
Mode button
• Press to switch from DAB, FM & Bluetooth® modes.
• In DAB/FM mode, long press to scan.
Vol – / Vol + button
• Press to adjust the volume.
Preset button
• In DAB mode, press to access the Preset recall.
• In FM mode, press to access the Preset list.
Power button
• Long press to turn on/off the device.
• In active mode, short press to enter standby mode.

FIRST SET-UP

Before using RIO for the first time, ensure to fully extend the telescopic antenna. The telescopic antenna has a swivel base to allow it to be adjusted to different positions for the clearest sound and DAB/FM signal reception.
Plug one end of the USB-C cable to the USB-C port found on the rear of your radio. Then connect other end of the cable into a 5V/2A power adaptor. Plug the power adaptor into the mains socket on the wall.
Press and hold < Power> to turn on the device. The LCD display will light up and display LEXON before entering in DAB mode.
When RIO is switched ON for the first time it will start to scan all usable channels and rank them by frequency. The initial scan may take a few minutes. After the scan, the DAB will play the first channel in the sequence.

If no stations are found, switch the device off and move it to a location with a stronger signal.
Important note: Simply charge your RIO radio up to make it portable and take it on the go with up to 6 hours playback.

DAB FUNCTION

DAB/DAB+ (Digital radio) brings a superior listening experiencing whether it’s music or any other program.
When you find a station you like save it as one of your preset favorites.

Press < Up/Down> to browse the stations. Wait a few seconds before the radio tunes to the displayed station.
To full scan or manually tune for stations, press < Menu> to select Local scan or Manual tune.
Press < Play/Pause> if you want to mute the IDAB radio.

If the RIO is in DAB mode:

Press and hold < Menu> to enter the menu list.
Press < Up/Down> to select option through the list of menus.
Press < Play/Pause> to enter a menu.

The menu options are: Equalizer, Preset list, Channel list, Local scan, Manual tune, Region, DRC, Sort, Signal status, System setup

FM FUNCTION

Please make sure that the radio’s antenna is extended before operation in FM mode.

To enter FM mode, press < Mode> until the FM mode screen is displayed. For the first use, the radio will start at the beginning of the frequency range (87.50MHz), otherwise the radio will default to the station that was being listened to last. 2. Press and hold < Up/Down> to scan next or previous available stations or you can press < Up/Down> button to tune up or tune down the band in 0.05MHz steps. 3. Press < Play/Pause> if you want to mute the FM radio.

If RIO is in FM mode, press and hold < Menu> to enter the menu list.

Press < Up/Down> button to select option through the list of menus.
Press < Play/Pause> to enter a menu.

The menu options are: Equalizer, Preset list, Preset save, Scan setting, Audio setting, Channel list, Auto search, Clear all list, Region, Signal status, System setup

STORING AND SELECTING FAVOURITE STATIONS

RIO can store up to 10 DAB radio stations and 10 stations FM radio stations. Follow the steps below to store and select your favorite stations.

To store a favorite station:

Tune to the DAB or FM radio station you want to store.
Press and hold < Preset>.
Short press < Up/Down> to select your desired station preset number.
Press on the < Play/Pause> to confirm your selection.
The display will show “Save#”.

To listen a stored favorite station:

Press once.
Short press < Up/Down> to select presets station that you have stored.
When the display shows your desired preset number.
Press < Play/Pause> to confirm.
The display will show “Save#”.

To listen a stored favorite station:

Press < Preset> once.
Short press < Up/Down> to select presets station that you have stored.
When the display shows your desired preset number.
Press < Play/Pause> to confirm.

BLUETOOTH® MODE

Pairing with Bluetooth® enabled devices

Ensure RIO and Bluetooth device are in Bluetooth range (within 10 m ).
Press < Mode> to switch to Bluetooth® mode.
To notify you RIO speaker is in pairing mode, a “On pairing” message will appear on the LCD screen.
Go in the Bluetooth® settings of your phone and ensure Bluetooth is switched on.
Look for “LEXON Rio” in the Bluetooth® device list.
Once it appears, tap it to pair. The speaker will emit a confirmation sound as soon as it is paired and a “Connected” message will be displayed on the screen.
To reconnect or disconnect from RIO, press and hold < Play/Pause> until a “beep” sound is heard.

Note: You will need to disconnect any connected Bluetooth® devices from RIO to stream from a different Bluetooth® device. Bluetooth will automatically disconnect if you are out of the range of RIO.

Controlling Bluetooth music playback

Press < Play/Pause> to play or pause the music playback.
Press < Up/Down> to change the track.
Press < Vol-/Vol+> to adjust the volume level.

Note: To pair with a new device, unpair the existing device from your phone’s Bluetooth® settings first and just follow the steps above.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Read all the instructions carefully before using the unit and keep them for future reference:

Check that the voltage marked on the rating label matches your mains voltage.
Avoid extreme degrees of temperature, either hot or cold. Place the unit well away from heat sources such as radiators or gas/electric fires.
Make sure to plug the USS plug into any external power adapter 5V.
Keep your device dry. Never place your device in water to avoid causing internal short-circuit, over-heating, smoking, fire, deformation, or even explosion of the battery.
Do not store your device in very hot or cold areas. It is recommended to use your device at room temperatures.
Do not attempt to service, repair or disassemble.
