Titan Series Coated Stainless Steel Pan

Note: If the colour of the cookware changes on the exterior or base (slight yellowing or browning), this is not a defect, but a normal process with stainless steel. This does  not impair the function in any way. You can use white vinegar or a stainless steel cleaner to clean off any discolouration.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Remove the clear or bluish protective film from the cookware.
Carefully wash the cookware with a mild soap or detergent, and dry with a cloth. Alternatively, wash it in the dishwasher.

COOKING WITH GAS

When using a gas stove, always check that the flame only touches the base of the cookware. The colour of the cookware can fade if the flame is too high, and energy is  unnecessarily wasted if the flames rise up around both sides.

USE IN THE OVEN

The cookware is heat-resistant up to 260°C. The handle will become hot. Always use oven gloves to avoid burns.

CLEANING

  • All parts of your cookware are dishwasher-safe, but we recommend washing by hand. Hand washing extends the cookware‘s lifespan and preserves its appearance. We  recommend only using soft scouring pads or sponges.
  • For stubborn dirt, leave a tablespoon of mild washing-up liquid and hot water to work for 15 minutes, then use a plastic or wooden spatula or a non-abrasive sponge to  loosen the food residues. Repeat this process if necessary.

MAINTENANCE

The properties of the non-stick coating may deteriorate as a result of repeated cleaning and use. To revitalize the coating, proceed as follows:

  1. Pour some vegetable oil onto a piece of clean kitchen towel. Use the oily paper towel to rub the entire INNER SURFACE of the cookware.
  2. Place the cookware on the stove over a low heat for about 30-60 seconds, and remove the pan when the oil begins to smoke.
  3. After the cookware has cooled, use a clean piece of kitchen towel to remove the excess oil. Your pan is now ready for use.
