PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
During operation, the LED emits high-intensity ultraviolet (UV) light, which is harmful to the skin and eyes.
UV light is hazardous to the skin and may cause cancer. Avoid exposure to UV light when LED is operational.
Precautions must be taken to avoid looking directly at the UV light without the use of UV light protective glasses. Do not look directly at the front of the LED or at the LED’s lens when LED is operational.

CHARGING

Connect the USB-C charging cable to a USB Certified plug adaptor.
Plug the USB-C connector into the back of your device (5).
When Oblio is successfully powered to an electrical source, the white LED light will light up for a few seconds.
IMPORTANT: To get your charging station properly operating, you need to use a Quick Charge 3.0 certified power adaptor or a DC 9V 2A USB Power adaptor.
Using a different charger or adaptor with a lower specification than mentioned above, may significantly affect the wireless charging performance and cause irreversible damage to your device.
It is strongly recommended to plug your power adapter directly into the wall socket and avoid using an extender or power strip that may cause interferences and affect good working operations.

WIRELESS CHARGING

Charging Mobile Device

  1. Place your wireless charging-enabled smartphone inside the charging station, face up. Kindly note that Oblio only works with all Qi-compatible devices. Please contact your smartphone manufacturer or check your mobile phone user manual to ensure that your device is Qi-certified. The charging function activates automatically.
    Check the charging icon displayed on the mobile phone screen for charging status.

  2. When the mobile device is fully charged it will stop automatically to protect your device.

Ambient temperature: 22/25°C
Kindly note that room temperature may have an impact on the smartphone’s charging time.
Note: Be sure to properly place the back of your smartphone resting against the wireless charging surface in order to charge it. Wireless charging may not work if you have attached a thick or metallic protective case to your mobile phone. Oblio supports up to 3 mm in thickness for reference.
Light status indicator

If the indicator light does not work as described above, unplug the charger from the wireless charger and reconnect it.

UV SANITIZER
UV sanitizer function is ON by default. Oblio eliminates up to 99% of the bacteria present on the treated surface.
To disable it permanently, press the physical button located underneath the unit.
UV sanitizer ON

  1. Place your phone in the charging station
  2. A purple light will light up to indicate that your smartphone is in the sterilization phase.
  3. UV sanitizer function activates automatically and will take about 20 minutes to complete its sanitizing cycle.
  4. The UV lamp turns off automatically when the sterilization phase is completed.

Note: If the phone is extracted during the sanitization phase, UV sanitizer will stop automatically. The cycle will start again from the beginning.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

Read all the instructions before using the device:

  1. Wireless charging may not work if you have attached a thick or metallic protective case to your mobile phone.
  2. Wireless charging is slower than wire charging.
  3. Use indoors and in a dry location only.
  4. Avoid contact with liquids: keep away from water and high moisture conditions.
  5. No hitting the product severely, inserting any conductive objects into the product, or charging port.
  6. Do not put metal objects or magnets between the mobile device and the wireless charger surface.
  7. Do not store your device in very hot or very cold areas. It is recommended to use your device at room temperature.
  8. Do not repair the device by yourself; seek professional service.
  9. Avoid getting shocked, and do not touch the product with wet hands.
