EL2-CRW. LED Emergency Light
Important: Read all instructions prior to installation.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
Warning
Read and follow all safety instructions. When using electrical equipment,
basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:
- Disconnect power at fuse or circuit breaker before installing or servicing.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not mount in hazardous locations or near gas or electric heaters.
- Do not let power cords touch hot surfaces.
- Equipment should be mounted at heights and locations where it is not subjected to tampering by unauthorized personnel.
- The use of accessory equipment is not recommended.
- Do not use this equipment other than its intended use.
- All services should be performed by qualified personnel.
- Allow the battery to charge for 24 hours before first use.

Cautions
Maintenance
- Not required. Replace the batteries as needed according to ambient conditions. We recommend the equipment be tested regularly in accordance with local codes.
Operation
- Press the test button, the LED heads will turn on and the LED indicator will turn off.
- Release the test switch, the LED indicator will turn on and the LED heads will turn off.
Troubleshooting
- Check AC supply, verify the unit has 24 hours of AC supply before emergency use.
- Verify the unit is shorted or the battery is not connected
Testing
Manual Test
The test buttons can be held to illuminate lights for manual testing purposes.
Wiring Diagram

Installation Instructions

Carefully remove the mounting plate by using the release buttons.

Remove appropriate knockouts for wiring and mounting from the rear panel.

Run the wiring through the mounting plate and connect the wiring to the junction box. Cap unused wire. (refer to wiring diagram)
Note: Red and black wires should never be connected at the same time. -
Securely attach the mounting plate to the surface or junction box with hardware.

Connect the battery to the board.

Reattach light assembly to the mounting plate.

Apply power and allow the battery pack to charge for at least 24 hours before initial use/test.

After a 24-hour period, press the test button to make certain lights are functioning as intended.
