Pentair DC3WCM Glacier Wall Control
Please note
Wall Control Module cannot be used either simultaneously, or in conjunction
with, a Glacier DC or DC3 remote Handset. Please ensure you have the correct
wall control to suit your fan. See the pictures below.
WARNING
FOR YOUR SAFETY, ALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS MUST BE UNDERTAKEN BY A LICENSED
ELECTRICIAN BY AS/NZS 3000 WIRING RULES. A CIRCUIT BREAKER (10A) TYPE C
ACCORDING TO AS/NZS 60898-1 SHALL BE INSTALLED.

Installation and Fan Operation
MUST BE INSTALLED
BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN
ELECTRICAL WIRING AND PAIRING
Using 1 wall controller to control 1 x Ceiling Fan.
- Connect the “LIVE” supply to “L” on the controller,
- Connect the fan to the “L1” of the wall controller.
- Connect” NEUTRAL” to the “N” of the wall controller.
- Turn the isolation switch “ON” a beep’ sound will be heard, within 20 seconds, press and hold on the wall controller for 3 seconds. The fan will emit another ‘beep beep’ sound to indicate the pairing process is activated.
Using 1 wall controller to control 2 or more Ceiling fans.
NOTE: ONLY 1 (MASTER) FAN CAN BE CONNECTED TO CONTROL BOX. MAX 80 WATTS.
- Connect the “LIVE” supply to “L1” on the terminal controller.
- Connect the master fan to the “L” of the wall controller.
- Connect ”NEUTRAL” to “N” on the wall controller.
Pair the Master fan.
Pair the Master Fan first. Turn the isolation switch “ON”, and a beep sound
will be heard. Within 20 seconds, press and hold the button for 3 seconds The
fan will emit another ‘beep beep’ sound to indicate pairing has been
successful.
ELECTRICAL WIRING AND PAIRING CONTINUED
Pair the Secondary fans.
Turn the secondary fan isolation switch “ON”, a beep’ sound will be heard, and
within 20 seconds, press and hold on the master wall controller for 3 seconds.
The fan will emit another ‘beep beep’ sound to indicate the pairing process
has been successful. Repeat this process for each of the secondary fans.
IMPORTANT NOTES FOR MULTI-FAN OPERATION
- All secondary fans should be within a 12m radius of the Master Wall controller to ensure reliable connectivity.
- The Multi-fan wiring format is different from the Single-fan format. This allows the isolation switch to cut power to the Master fan while still being able to operate the other secondary fans.
- It is possible to pair multiple secondary fans at once, as long as all fans can be paired within the 20-second pairing time restriction.
- All secondary fans should have their isolating switch (not supplied).
INSTALLING THE WALL CONTROLLER
- Fix the wall controller base to the wall with two screws supplied.
- Clip fascia onto the base ensuring cables are positioned in the space provided.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Are fans not responding to wall control?
- Turn the fan isolation switch off and leave it off for a minimum of 1 minute.
- After 1 minute, run the isolation switch “ON”, a beep sound will be heard.
- Within 20 seconds, press and hold the fan button for 3 seconds.
- The fan will emit another sound to indicate pairing has been successful.
One wall control is operating multiple fans, how do I change this?
Note: This can be changed by re-pairing each fan one at a time:
- Turn all fans you wish to separate off at the isolation switch and leave them off for a minimum of 1 minute.
- Turn the isolation switch “ON” for the 1st fan and within 20 seconds press and hold the fan A button on the wall control for 3 seconds. Release and check fan functions.
- Repeat the above steps with the next fan ensuring the previous fan is left on at the isolation switch.
NOTE: Each fan must have its isolation switch as per the installation instructions
