CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS
We recommend you to fully charge the battery before using Flip Premium for the first time.
- Plug the provided USB Type-C cable into the charging port at the back of the device.
- Plug the USB end of the cable into any powered-on computer or any 5V USB power adaptor (not included).
- A charging icon will display on the LCD screen when charging.
- When fully charged, the battery icon remains solid.
When battery is low, the battery icon will keep flashing until the device
power completely run out.
It takes about 3 hours to fully charge Flip Premium.
TIME & DATE SETTING
Important note: The Flip Premium has a built-in battery that allows it to
operate without being constantly plugged in.
When not plugged in, the LED display automatically switches OFF when the room
is quiet and lights up again when you touch the device, tap on your bedside
table or when it detects noise.
The LED backlight will be ON for about 5 seconds before automatically
switching OFF.
Flip Premium can be permanently plugged in with a 5V USB power adaptor. When
plugged in, the LED display stays on permanently.
First set up
- Press and hold SET/ power button for 3 seconds to turn on Flip Premium
- Press – or + or HR or MIN buttons to select the time format (12/24-hour format). Press SET button to confirm.
- Press HR and MIN buttons to adjust the time. Press the SET button to confirm.
- Press HR or MIN buttons to set the date (MM/DD-DD / MM format)*. Press the SET button to confirm.
*The date format is set based on the selected time format.
Normal mode
- Press SET button
- Press HR and MIN buttons to adjust the time. Press the SET button to confirm.
- Press HR or MIN buttons to set the date. Press the SET button to confirm.
- Press – or + or HR or MIN buttons to select the time format (12/24-hour format). Press SET button to confirm.
- Press – or + or HR or MIN buttons to adjust the brightness. By default, the brightness is set to level 2.
Press SET button to confirm.
ALARM SETTING
- Position your Flip Premium with the ON sign facing up. Alarm time will appear on the right of the LCD screen.
- Press HR and MIN buttons to adjust the alarm time.
- Make sure the ON sign keep facing up to enable the alarm feature.
- To turn it off, simply flip your device opposite side with OFF sign facing up or press any button on the back of the device.
Alarm will ring following the below pattern:
First 10 second | One beep |

10th **to 20th second** | Double beep |
20th **to 30th second** | Triple beep |
30th **second until 2 minutes** | Continuous Beep |
Snooze
- To snooze the alarm, simply tap on the top of your alarm clock. The alarm will sound again after 6 minutes.
- To stop the snooze, simply flip your device opposite side with OFF sign facing up.
- To turn on the alarm for next day, simply flip your device opposite side with ON sign facing up.
Backlight
- At night, tap on the top of your alarm clock or gently tap on your bedside table (thanks to the noise detection sensor) to light up the screen
Lock system
Flip Premium has a lock button that can be used while travelling to disable
the alarm, turn off the light and save the time. When the lock system is ON
and the alarm clock is not plugged in, the LED display –:–
If you want to plug in Flip Premium without being disturbed by the permanent
display, the lock system allows you to switch off the display. The display
will only light up when you touch the device, tap on your bedside table or
when it detects noise.
