SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The product is intended for charging lead-acid, gel and AGM batteries. Do not attempt to use the charger as a DC power source -risk of electric shock and/or fire.

Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the rating plate. If an extension cord is used the cross-sectional area of the wires must be dimensioned for the power supply to the product.

Do not use the product if the power cord or plug are damaged, if it is not working properly after it has been dropped or if the product is damaged in any other way.

Do not open the product. Repairs must only be carried out by qualified personnel. Incorrect installation can cause a fire and/ or electric shock.
Disconnect the battery charger’s charging cables from the battery and pull out the plug before cleaning. -
After charging, pull out the plug. Then disconnect the cables from the battery.

WARNING! Risk of explosion. Explosive gas forms during battery charging. Avoid sources of heat, such as naked flames or sparks. Ensure good ventilation.

Do not attempt to charge nonrechargeable batteries.

A damaged power cord or plug must be replaced by an authorized service center or other qualified personnel to ensure safe use.
First, connect to the battery terminal that is not connected to the chassis. Connect the other clip to the chassis, at a safe distance from the battery and fuel lines. Then connect the battery charger’s plug. The product is not intended to be used by persons (children or adults) with any form of functional disorders, or by persons who do not have sufficient experience or knowledge on how to use it, unless they have received instructions concerning the use of the product from someone who is responsible for their safety. Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product. -
Avoid short-circuiting. Short-circuiting discharges large amounts of energy and can cause a fire and/or serious personal injury.

DESCRIPTION
Fully automatic battery charger with backlit LCD display and memory function. For charging 6 or 12 V batteries (maintenance-free, lead-acid, calcium- calcium, gel, and AGM).
DISPLAY

Charging current 12 V standard lead-acid battery 2A/4A/6A/8A. The charging current is set automatically depending on the battery’s capacity and/or charge.

Charging current 12 V AGM battery – 2 A/4 A/6 A/8 A. The charging current is set automatically depending on the battery’s capacity and/or charge.

Winter mode 12 V standard battery and 12 V AGM battery. Suitable at 5°C or lower.
NOTE: Never charge a frozen battery- always thaw it out before charging. -
Charging current 6 V standard lead-acid battery – 2 A/4 A/6 A/8 A. The charging current is set automatically depending on the battery’s capacity and/or charge.

Battery charging indicator – Each segment represents 20%. A flashing surround indicates that the battery is charged. When the surround and all five segments are lit, the battery is fully charged and the product switches to trickle charging.

Battery voltage, resolution 0.1 V.

Indication of incorrect polarity.

HOW TO USE
-
The charger’s mains plug is inserted, but no battery is connected – The backlight flashes green, o.o Vis displayed and the battery clip symbol is lit.

The battery is connected but the charger’s mains plug is not inserted – The display is blank.

The charger’s mains plug is inserted and the battery is connected – The backlight flashes green and the battery’s voltage is displayed. After 5
seconds, the backlight changes to red and charging begins. -
Disconnection of clips during charging or after completed charging – The backlight flashes, o.o Vis displayed, and the battery clip symbol lights.

The charger’s mains plug is inserted and the battery is connected with incorrect polarity – The backlight flashes and the incorrect polarity symbol is lit.

The charger’s mains plug is inserted, the battery is connected and there is the voltage between the clips, although there is little or no charging current flowing. – The clips are not connected correctly to the battery, for example, due to oxide on the battery terminals. The display flashes, the battery clips symbol is lit and the voltage between the clips is displayed.
MAINTENANCE
- The product must be stored and used in a dry, well-ventilated area, protected from heat and direct sunlight as well as from corrosive gas. When charging, the product must be placed on a stable surface, as far from the battery being charged as the cables permit.
- Operating temperature: -10 to 40° C
- Storage temperature: -10 to 50°C
- Never place the charger on the battery or the battery on the charger. Reduce the charging current if the battery temperature exceeds 40°C during charging. Stop the charging if the battery temperature exceeds 45°C and allow the battery to cool to the permitted charging temperature before resuming charging
