ASSEMBLY
The following instructions refer to diagram 1.
- Screw the suction tube on to the barrel fitting (11). Firmly tighten so that the connection is airtight.
- Screw the nozzle nut (4) (on the nozzle) on the pump head. Firmly tighten so that the connection is tight.
- Pull out the telescopic suction tube (12) so that it extends higher than the height of the barrel.
- Screw the barrel fitting on the pump in the hole for the barrel cap. Firmly tighten the pump by gripping the pump housing (10) and twisting.
- Pull up the piston (1) and connect the handle to the piston with the tap and clip (5).
- The pump is now ready to use. Start pumping with quick strokes of the handle.
USE
IMPORTANT
- Do NOT pump water-based liquids, solvent, acids or antifreeze.
- Parts of the pump are made of chromed steel. Never pump liquids that are corrosive. Some liquids can leave a coating on the surface when they dry.
- The handle should be upright when the pump is not in use.
IF THE PUMP DOES NOT SUCK
If there is no suction in the pump it may need to be filled with liquid. Turn the opening on the nozzle up. Pour a few drops of the pumped liquid into the nozzle and pump a few quick strokes with the handle. If this does not help, release the pump from the barrel and check that the suction tube reaches down to the bottom of the barrel.
