SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Read all the instructions and safety instructions and familiarise yourself with the controls on the product and how it is used. Failure to follow all the instructions and safety instructions can result in a risk of personal injury and/or material damage.
  • This product can be used by children from 8 years of age and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved. Keep children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision.
  • Keep small children under supervision to make sure they do not play with the product.
  • Do not leave children unattended near the product, and choose a place for installation where children cannot access the product.
  • Apart from detailed instructions from qualified personnel, no special qualifications are required to use the product.
  • The product must not be used by persons under 16. Young people can use the product under supervision as part of their training.
  • The product is intended for pumping clean water to supply homes with water, for use in the home, garden, yard, and for cultivation. Take the technical data and all the safety instructions into consideration. Never use the product for anything other than the purpose it was designed for. The manufacturer cannot accept liability for any damage resulting from failure to follow the instructions and/or safety instructions. Do not use the product outdoors at temperatures higher than 35°C or lower than 0°C.
  • The product is not suitable for prolonged use, for example as a circulation pump in ponds or watercourses. Such use will shorten the life span of the product. Use a timer for such use, to ensure sufficient standstills between the run periods.
  • Do not leave the product unattended when it is running, otherwise, there is a risk of consequential damage as a result of malfunctioning. Switch off the product and pull out the plug if the product is not going to be used for some time.
  • Always check before use that the charger’s power cord and plug are undamaged.
  • Do not use the product if it is damaged, or if all the safety devices are not in place and working properly. Replace damaged or worn parts.
  • Only use accessories and spare parts recommended by the manufacturer. Follow the maintenance instructions for the best functionality and useful life. Inadequate maintenance or failure to correct any problems before use could cause malfunctioning and lead to serious personal injury or even death.
  • Do not use the product for drinking water.
  • Do not use the product for wastewater.
  • Do not connect the product to an existing water supply as a pressure boost unit.
  • Never use the product as a pool circulation pump.
  • Never run the product without water.

DESCRIPTION

Battery-powered garden pump to supply water to places where a PowerPoint is not available. The hose has a non-return valve and the handle on the top of the pump makes it easy to move around. The garden pump is part of Meec Tools Multiseries 18 V. A series of tools and machines that share the same charger and batteries.
Batteries, chargers, other accessories and products for the home and garden are sold separately in Jula’s department stores and at www.jula.com.

USE

BEFORE STARTING
Insert a fully charged battery for Meec Tools Multi series. Fill the pump with water before starting. This makes it easier for the pump to suck water. Carefully follow the instructions in the figures.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING!
Remove the battery before maintenance, cleaning and/or other work on the product. Clean the product with clean water at regular intervals to ensure best functionality and life span of the pump seal.

IMPORTANT:
Water left standing for a long time can cause corrosion (brown discoloring) in the pump housing.

STORAGE
Store the product empty and in frost-free condition. Empty all the water from the product before putting it into winter storage.
If water freezes in the product this can damage the product. To reduce the risk of mechanical seals seizing, the pump can be preserved with a suitable oil (for example, vegetable oil).
