SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all the instructions and all the warning labels on the equipment before use. Failure to follow these instructions can lead to the risk of serious personal injury and/or material damage. Failure to follow the instructions will invalidate the warranty. Pay attention to what you are doing at all times, and use your common sense. Avoid getting into situations where safety is put at risk.

  • Switch off the engine and break the machine before mounting and dismantling the blade.
  • Be careful when mounting and dismantling the blade.
  • Switch off the engine and brake the machine before doing any repairs on the blade.
  • All persons who use or service the machine should have read the instructions and must be aware of the risks involved. Keep the whole of your body well away from the blade when it is up. Always wear safety glasses when working on the blade.
  • Watch out to avoid getting pinched.
  • Adjust the two skids to a suitable height. The skids should stick out from the blade.
  • Always check before use that all the mechanical parts are correctly fitted and undamaged, that screw unions are tightened, and that the skids are adjusted to a suitable height.
  • Clear snow at a suitable speed in relation to the surface and the snow. Avoid running into heavy or wet snow, this can cause you to lose control of the machine. The blade is very heavy and can cause serious personal injury and/or material damage.
  • Do not use the blade when there are people or animals nearby.
  • Do not use the blade to pile up snow — the risk of personal injury and/or material damage.

USE

The snowplow is intended for clearing snow. The best plow blade angles for different methods are a matter of trial and error. Here are some practical tips.

PLOUGH BLADE HEIGHT

Adjust the blade to a suitable height before use. Adjust the height by adjusting the height of the skids by switching the shims and tube. The skids should stick out from the blade. The skids should slide over the surface.
BILD 9

ANGLED POSITION

The angle of the blade can be adjusted from 0-30° both to the left and right. Pressure down the handle and move the blade to the required angle. Release the handle to lock the blade. Angle the blade to the left or right to widen the plowed area. Drive along the edge of the plowed area so that the snow is thrown forwards and to the side. This method is useful for clearing large areas, such as car parks.
BILD 10

STRAIGHT POSITION
The straight position is used to remove

DEEP SNOW  snow from solid objects. Raise the blade and drive forwards so that the blade comes near the object. Lower the blade and reverse, so that the snow is pulled off the object. Do not reverse more than two lengths of the machine. Raise the blade, reverse into the cleared area and then clear away the snow in front. It is much more effective to plow than to pull snow back a long way.
BILD 11
For deep snow, raise the blade so that only the top layer is scraped off. Do not lower the blade so deep that the machine becomes overloaded, this makes the work less effective. When using the full width of the blade, lower it down to no more than 5 cm high in the snow.
When using three-quarters of the width of the blade, lower it down to no more than 10 cm high in the snow. When using half of the width of the blade, lower it down to no more than 15 cm high in the snow.

WET SNOW
Avoid leaving strips of wet snow, they can freeze and put traffic at risk.
