NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital service, pursuant to Part 15 of the FFC Rules. Tools / accessories needed (not included):

  • (1) ¼ hexagonal screwdriver
  • 2ft-3ft – (2) # ¼ screws
  • 4ft-8ft – (4) # ¼ screws

Parts

It is suggested to make the installation with two persons.


SURFACE MOUNT VERSION

Step 1

To remove the lens, it has to be squeezed, starting from one end and doing it until it reaches the other end to release the lens from lances. Once the lens is released from the lances slide it to one side and then lift it from one end and remove it, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2

Remove the screws located on the sides of the LED board with a hexagonal ¼ screwdriver, as shown in figure 2.A

Note: In case of 2 LED rows, it will be a single screw, as shown in figure 2.B

Step 3

Slide the WWC to the opposite side of the lances and then pull up the WWC so that it can be removed, as shown in figure 3.B

Step 4

Locate the wires for electrical connections. The wires are placed in the wire manager, shown in figure 4.

Step 5

Wiring connections:
– White: neutral
– Green: ground
– Black: line
– Violet & Pink: dimming

Note: For 4ft & 8ft version, take out the connection wires through the 2’’ K.O in the middle. Place the 2’’ K.O. below the connection box on the mounting surface. If needed move the ground cable closer to the 2’’ K.O.

Step 6

Place the luminaire upside down against the mounting surface.

It’s recommended to measure the distance between the two installation slots and mark its position on the surface where its going to be installed.

Step 7

Hold the luminaire until you have put the necessary screws to mount it and check that it is properly fixed to the desired surface.

Step 8

Once electrical connections are done the WWC needs to be installed.

Tilt the WWC until it touches the endcap in the opposite side where the lances are placed. Lower it until it sits in the housing and slide it to the opposite side until the lances make contact with the endbracket.

Note: Be sure not to bruise the wires when installing the WWC.

Step 9

Install the screws removed on step 2.

Note: When using optic lens, Install the removed metal brackets in step 3. figures 3. C and 3.D by placing them in position and screwing them.

Step 10

Tilt the lens until it touches the endcap. Lower the lens until is in contact with the WWC then center the lens in a way that it is held by both endcaps. Finally squeeze the lens until it engages with the lances.

V HOOK VERSION

(V Hook accessories sold separately or provided by others)

Step 1

Turn the luminaire upside down and hold it.

Step 2

Locate the K.O / Wire manager in the housing and remove it with a screwdriver. This process will make the wires available for connection as shown on figure 12.

Step 3

Wiring connections:
– White: neutral
– Green: ground
– Black: line
– Violet & Pink: dimming

Step 4

Join the extremes of the chain and introduce them into the V-hook as shown in the figure 13.

Step 5

Insert V-Hooks in the housing as shown in the figure 14.

Note: Make sure the hooks point towards the middle section of the luminaire

Attach the chains to the ceiling.

SLIDING HANGER

(Hanger accessories sold separately)

Step 1

Remove the lens and WWC, as shown in steps 1-3 of Surface mount.


Step 2

Take the sliding hanger and screw it in the ceiling, as shown in figure 16.

Step 3

Place the luminaire upside down, hold and push the luminaire from bottom to top, as shown in figure 17.

Step 4

Install the WWC and lens, as shown in steps 8-10 of Surface mount.


IN-ROW MOUNTING

(Row Joiner accessory sold separately

Step 1

Remove the endcap on one side by removing the screw and pulling the endcap out of its position, as shown in figure 18.A

Note: In the figure 18.B is shown the luminaire with the endcap removed

Step 2

Slide the bracket in the luminaire and align the hole on the bracket with the hole on the luminaire, as shown in figure 19.A and screw both parts together as in figure 19.B

Step 3

Slide the center mullion into the square cut in the housing and slide the other luminaire into the bracket, as shown in figure 20.A

Note: If you want to hang the luminaire in the union of both fixtures fold the tabs circled in figure 19.A.
Make sure to close the V hooks with pliers for safety, this will prevent the V Hooks from sliding out of the bracket.

  1. Center Mullion

Step 4

Screw the luminaire slided in step 3 to the bracket as shown in figure 21.
