INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the Zoo Jamz® Doggy Xylophone.
Create your own melodies, discover different music notes, then follow the
light-up bars to play songs in an exciting game. Do re mi, it’s a party!

WARNING
All packing materials such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks, removable
tags, cable ties, cords and packaging screws are not part of this toy, and
should be discarded for your child’s safety.
NOTE
Please save this Instruction Manual as it contains important information.
Unlock the packaging locks:
- Turn the packaging locks 90 degrees counterclockwise several times.
- Pull out and discard the packaging locks.
GETTING STARTED
Battery Removal and Installation
- Make sure the unit is turned Off.
- Find the battery cover located on the dog’s tummy, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw, and then open the battery cover.
- Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery.
- Install 2 new AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. For best performance, alkaline batteries are recommended. Rechargeable batteries are not guaranteed to work with this product.
- Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
WARNING :
Adult assembly required for battery installation.
Keep batteries out of reach of children.
IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
- Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries.
- Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
- Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
- Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
- Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
- Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES:
- Remove rechargeable batteries (if removable) from toy before charging.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
PRODUCT FEATURES
ACTIVITIES
1. Free Play Mode
Slide the On/Off/Mode Selector to Free Play mode then press or tap the Musical
Bars to hear individual music notes and create music. The corresponding
musical bar will light up.
2. Follow Me Mode
Slide the On/Off/Mode Selector to Follow Me mode then press or tap the
Musical Bars to play a fun game of follow me. The musical bars will light
up and the voice will guide you through a sequence of notes.
There are three levels of play. Each level will start by asking you to repeat
one note and will build each time you respond with the correct note.
Level 1: Sequence of 3 notes
Level 2: Sequence of 5 notes
Level 3: Sequence of 8 notes
3. Learn to Play Mode
Slide the On/Off/Mode Selector to Learn to Play mode then press or tap the
Musical Bars to play a song.
Press or tap the Musical Bars while a song is playing to play the song
note by note, following the lights.
There are three levels of play. In level 1 and 2, the song will pause and the
light for the next note will remain on until the Musical Bar is pressed or
the unit automatically shuts off.
Level 1: Play 7-9 notes from the song, the remaining notes will play
automatically.
Level 2: Play 11-16 notes from the song, the remaining notes will play
automatically.
Level 3: Play the full song note by note.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat sources. -
Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time.

Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps:
- Turn the unit Off.
- Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
- Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
- Turn the unit back On. The unit should now be ready to use again.
- If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.
