SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.

This appliance can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial, or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the appliance without supervision.

Never leave the appliance unattended when switched on.

Do not touch live parts.

Never use the appliance for anything other than its intended purpose.

This appliance is intended to pick up cold ash from
fireplaces, chimneys, ovens, ash-trays, and similar places of ash accumulation. -
Do not use the appliance without a filter. Only use a filter of the type recommended by the manufacturer (fire protection filter).

Check before vacuuming that there are no red-hot particles in the ash by poking it with a metal implement and checking that it does not feel warm.

Do not attempt to vacuum hot ash, burning or red-hot objects such as matches or cigarettes, or other materials or particles hotter than 40°C.

Do not attempt to vacuum flammable, corrosive, or explosive substances, fumes, or liquids.

Do not attempt to vacuum toxic dust or use the appliance to separate toxic dust (dust class M).

Only vacuum ash from the permitted fuels.

Do not vacuum flammable substances.

Do not pick up hot, glowing or burning ash. Pick up cold ash only

The dust container must be emptied and cleaned before and after each use

Do not use paper dust bags or bags made from similar flammable materials

Do not use any other vacuum cleaner to vacuum ash

Do not rest the ash vacuum cleaner or flammable polymeric surfaces, including carpeting and vinyl tile.
Power cord -
Pull out the plug when the appliance is not in use.

Do not pull the power cord to unplug the plug.

Do not place heavy objects on the power cord and do not step on it — the risk of electric shock.

A damaged cord or plug must be replaced by an authorized service center or qualified person to ensure safe use.
Maintenance, repairs, and storage -
Switch off the appliance and unplug the power cord before cleaning and/or maintenance.

Empty and clean the appliance before and after use, to prevent the accumulation of material that can cause a fire hazard.

Repairs should be carried out by qualified personnel or an authorized service center.

Only use spare parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.

Store the appliance in a clean, dry place.

USE
Unpack the appliance and all accessories. Check that all the accessories are included and that nothing is damaged.
- Release the catch on the side of the lid and lift off the top part of the ash vacuum. FIG. 2
- Fit the filter unit underneath the top part.
- Replace the top part on the container and lock it with the catch.
- Insert the aluminum tube in the long end piece on the hose and insert the other end of the hose in the air inlet.
SUCTION FUNCTION
NOTE:
Only use the fire protection (leer.
- Press the power switch to start and switch off the appliance.
- Only vacuum cold ash. Remove and clean the filter when the container is full or the suction power decreases.
WARNING
The appliance must not be used to vacuum toxic dust, liquid or hot or
flammable particles. Read more under the section Safety instructions.
After use
- Pull out the plug and coil up the power cord.
- Remove the hose from the appliance.
- Remove the top part from the container.
- Empty and wash the dust container.
- Wipe the dust container dry with a cloth.
- Remove the filter and wash well. Allow the filter to dry before replacing it in the appliance.
BLOWER FUNCTION
- Insert the short end piece of the hose (1) in the air inlet (4) and twist to the left to lock.
- Insert the aluminum tube (3) in the long end piece on the hose (2). FIG. 3
- Press the power switch to start and switch off the appliance.
