SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  • Read these instructions carefully before use. Failure to follow all the instructions and safety instructions can result in fire, electric shock, death, personal injury and/ or material damage. Only use parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Always check before use that no parts are damaged, missing or worn and that all the safety devices are working properly.
  • Do not expose the power cord or plug to water or other liquids — risk of electric shock.
  • Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.
  • Always check the power cord and plug for wear and damage before use. If the power cord or plug are damaged they must be replaced by an authorized service centre to ensure safe use.
  • Do not pull the power cord to pull out the plug.
  • Turn all controls to the off position before unplugging.
  • Only use an approved extension cord.
  • Do not carry or pull the product by the power cord. Keep the power cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Do not pull the product over the power cord.
  • Check that the product is switched off before pulling out the plug.
  • Do not touch the product, the power cord or plug with wet hands. Follow all the relevant electrical safety regulations.
  • Be careful when using on stairs.
  • Switch off the product and pull out the plug before changing accessories.
  • Do not use the product near sources of heat, such as radiators or other hot surfaces.
  • Do not use the product to vacuum up hot or flammable liquid (such as petrol), burning or glowing objects (such as cigarettes or hot ash), or flammable or explosive substances (such as matches). Do not use the product near flammable liquids or gas.
  • Do not use the product to vacuum up toxic or harmful substances (such as chlorine, ammonia).
  • Switch off the product and pull out the plug before connecting the hose.
  • Do not use the product without the dust container and/or filter for dry vacuuming.
  • Before vacuuming, remove large and sharp objects from the work area, otherwise, the filter can be damaged.
  • Switch off the product immediately and pull out the plug if the power cord, metal telescopic tube, or nozzle get blocked. Remove the blockage before starting the product again.
  • Never leave the product unattended when plugged in.
  • Switch off the product and pull out the plug before maintenance and/or cleaning the filter.
  • Keep your head, face and other body parts away from the suction hose and openings on the product when it is plugged in.
  • Do not use the product if it is damaged, or worn. Check the power cord and plug for damage at regular intervals. If the power cord or plug are damaged they must be replaced by an authorized service center to ensure safe use. Replace the hose and metal telescopic tube if they are damaged.
  • Do not expose the product, power cord or plug to water or any other liquid.
  • Never attempt to repair or modify the electrical parts on the product.
  • Store in a dry and cool place indoors.
  • This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision.
  • Keep the product and its power cord out of the reach of children under eight years of age.
  • Never poke any objects or parts of your body in the openings on the product. Keep the ventilation openings clean.

WARNING!

  • Switch off the product immediately and pull out the plug if the power cord, metal telescopic tube or nozzle get blocked.
    Remove the blockage before starting the product again.

  • Do not use the product outdoors — the risk of electric shock.

  • Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid — the risk of electric shock.

IMPORTANT: Switch off the product and pull out the plug before maintenance and/or cleaning and when the product is not in use. Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate. The product must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with these instructions.

ACCESSORIES

Brush nozzle (21)
The brush nozzle is used to vacuum furniture and curtains etc.
Radiator nozzle (22)
The radiator nozzle is used to vacuum narrow spaces.
Floor nozzle for dry vacuuming (19)
The floor nozzle for dry vacuuming is used for carpets and hard floors.
Floor nozzle for wet vacuuming (20)
The floor nozzle for wet vacuuming is used for wet cleaning.

ASSEMBLY

  1. Fit the 2 back wheels (3) on the axle (5) and lock in place with the 2 nuts (2). Fit the axle and wheels on the base (1). Fit the back piece (4) with the screws.

  2. Fit the 2 front wheels (6) with the nuts (7) at the 2 fasteners (8) in the base and tighten firmly. FIG. 2

  3. Push up the button on the vacuum cover and press in the hose. Press the button again to pull out the hose as shown in the figure. FIG. 3

  4. Connect the tube parts A and B as shown in the figure below. FIG. 4
    NOTE: There is a connector on each tube.

  5. Insert the metal tube in the end of the vacuum hose as shown in the figure below. FIG. 5

  6. Put the required nozzle on the end of the metal tube as shown in the figure below. FIG. 6

  7. Note that the round nozzle and radiator nozzle will not fit on the tube. These nozzles fit on the end of the vacuum hose. FIG. 7

  8. Fitting the HEPA filter — Put the HEPA filter on the holder as shown in the figure and press in place so that it completely covers the holder. — Lock the HEPA filter in place with the plastic screw. FIG. 8

  9. Release the locks on the container to access the accessories or to clean the container. FIG. 9

FITTING THE BRUSH NOZZLE AND RADIATOR NOZZLE

Fit the brush nozzle (21) or radiator nozzle (22) by putting them on the end of the plastic vacuum hose.

HOW TO USE

  1. Press the power switches to start/stop the vacuum cleaner. For more power, press the other power switch to start both motors.
  2. When the container is full of water, use the hose on the tank to empty the container.
  3. Power tools can be connected to the main outlet on top of the vacuum cleaner.

NOTE:

  • The maximum output for the main outlet is 1500 W.

  • Do not exceed the maximum output, this will damage the motor and result in a risk of personal injury.

  • Use the function for filter cleaning if the suction power decreases, if the vacuum cleaner works less efficiently, or if the HEPA filter is clogged.
    — Block the vacuum opening without switching off the vacuum cleaner.
    — Press the button for filter cleaning several times until the suction power is restored.
    — This function is only used to counteract clogging of the fitter. The filter should still be cleaned after heavy use.

  • The vacuum cleaner can be used with or without the HEPA filter.

DRY VACUUM CLEANING

  1. Fit the HEPA filter before dry vacuuming.
  2. When the container is full or the HEPA filter is clogged, the container should be emptied and/or the filter cleaned with the filter cleaning function.
  3. The HEPA filter should also be cleaned after heavy use.

WET VACUUM CLEANING

  1. Remove the HEPA filter before wet vacuuming and fit the foam rubber filter instead.
  2.  Empty and clean the container after use. Do not leave the vacuum cleaner with dust or dirty water in the container.
  3. Clean the vacuum cleaner inside and outside with a cloth moistened with lukewarm water when necessary.
  4. Always check the power cord and plug for wear and damage before use.

NOTE: Clean the accessories regularly, especially the nozzle for wet vacuuming.

MAINTENANCE

Im portant:
Switch off the vacuum cleaner and pull out the plug before maintenance. If the vacuum cleaner is maintained in accordance with these instructions the motor will not normally need any maintenance.
CLEANING
Container

  1. Release the lock and lift off the top cover.
  2. Remove the HEPA filter unit and empty the dust container.
  3. Replace the HEPA filter and put the top cover back on.

NOTE: The suction power is reduced when the dust container is full. Switch off the vacuum cleaner, pull out the plug and empty the dust container.
HEPA filter

  1. Remove the HEPA filter.
  2. Wash.
  3. Allow drying.

NOTE: Wash when necessary the HEPA filter with hot water and a mild detergent.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Possible cause Action
The suction power decreases or the vacuum cleaner overheats. The filter is
blocked. Clean the filter. Replace the filter if the problem persists.
Air leakage. Check that all the connections between hoses, tubes, and

accessories are tight. Check that the cover on the container is fitted correctly.
The hose, tube or nozzle is blocked.| Check and remove any blockage.
Mist in the outlet air.| The filter is blocked.| Replace clogged filter.
