SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- This product can be used by children from 8 years and upwards and by persons with physical, sensorial or mental disabilities, or persons who lack experience or knowledge, if they are supervised or receive instructions concerning the safe use of the product and understand the risks involved with its use. Do not allow children to play with the product. Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product without supervision.

- If an extension cord is used the cross sectional area of the wires must be dimensioned for the power supply to the product.
- If the product is used outdoors, only use an extension cord approved for outdoor use.
- The product is not intended to transport water for human consumption.
- Do not use the product to transport corrosive, flammable or explosive substances such as petrol or other petroleum products, nitrogenous liquids, grease, oil, salt water or waste water from toilets, or liquid that has a higher viscosity than water.
- The temperature of the pumped liquid must not exceed 35°C.
- Keep this product out of the reach of children.
- Do not use the product if there are any persons in the water.
- Make sure the product does not suck up aquatic animals, such as fish.
- Pay attention to the risk of contaminating the liquid as a result of leaking lubricant.
- Protect electrical connections from moisture.
- Do not expose the product to temperatures below 0°C. Make sure that the product is not run without liquid.
- Do not pump aggressive liquids or abrasive material.
- Do not pull the power cord or float switch cord to move the product, and do not use them to secure the product from moving.
- The product is only intended for household use and is not suitable for commercial purposes.
- The manufacturer cannot accept liability for personal injury or material damage resulting from improper use.
- The product is intended to be used with a domestic water tank. When the pump is used to boost pressure, the maximum inlet pressure to the pump (1.0 bar) must not be exceeded.

The product must be connected to the mains with a residual current device of
max 30 mA.

DESCRIPTION
The product is ideal for use in the rainwater barrel in the garden! Equipped
with telescopic tube with quick-coupling for direct connection of a hose and
nozzle. The pump starts automatically to maintain the pressure and stops
automatically if it runs dry.

INSTALLATION
Fit the product parts as shown in the figure. Tighten the screw unions with a
suitable tool.
Connect the
outlet hose. Screw the connection clockwise on the pump housing outlet.
Tighten by hand.
Different diameters of hose can be connected. The largest possible hose
diameter should be used as this increases the flow. The shorter and larger the
hose, the higher the pump capacity.
USE
Warning
- Wear safety glasses and gloves during the installation.
- Read the safety instructions in the beginning of these instructions before using the product. Failure to follow all the instructions and safety instructions can result in a risk of electric shock, serious personal injury and/or material damage. Pay special attention to any installation or functional faults the first time the product is used.
USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Venting and filling with water
Fill the product with water before starting. If the product does not produce
water within 20 seconds of starting, switch off the product and lift it out of
the water, allow all the water to run out of the product and then dip it back
in the water. Now start the product again.
NOTE
The product must be fully covered with water. Otherwise it will not be vented
and filled with water, will not produce a full flow of water, and can be
damaged.
STARTING
- Check before starting that the product is corrected vented and filled with water (see previous section).
- The product should be hung up in a line fastened to the handle, so that it hangs just over the bottom of the water container. For extra support and stability
it can also be hung from the edge of the container. Check that the product is hung stable and vertically.
WARNING!
Never lift the product with the power cord.
NOTE:
The minimum depth of water for correct functionality is 46 mm.
Plug the plug into a power point. The product starts automatically when the
plug is plugged in.
NOTE:
Switch off the product immediately if it has dropped, been subjected to
knocks, or if it starts to vibrate abnormally. Any damage should be repaired
by an authorised service centre before using the product again.
SWITCHING OFF
To avoid personal injury, always switch of the product and pull out the plug:
- before cleaning and before removing blockages
- before leaving the product unattended
- before fitting or removing accessories
- before checking, cleaning or doing any other work on the product
- if the product starts vibrating abnormally (check immediately)
SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
Dry running protection
The product’s dry running protection detects water in the inlet hose. If no
water is detected, the product switches off automatically to prevent it from
running dry. When the dry running protection has tripped and switched off the
product it will automatically restart as follows.

NOTE:
The restart sequence can be interrupted at any time by pulling out the plug.
The product runs as normal when the plug is plugged in again. (Check first
that there is water in the inlet hose.)
Shut-off valve
The product switches off automatically 10 seconds after the valve is closed
MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock, fire and serious personal injury. Switch off the
product and pull out the plug before checking, adjusting, cleaning and putting
it away.
CLEANING
- Pull out the plug.
- Unscrew the outlet connection.
- Clean the pump outlet with clean water.
- Check the power cord for damage.
- The bottom part of the pump may need to be removed if the performance of the product is reduced.
STORING THE PRODUCT
Carry out the steps described in the section on maintenance before putting the
product into storage.
Empty all the water from the product and allow it to dry.
- Clean the product and its accessories.
- The product should be stored upright and in its original packaging.
- Store the product and all accessories in a clean, dry, frost-free and well ventilated place, out of the reach of children.
- The best storage temperature is 4 to 24°C.
SERVICE
- The product must only be serviced by qualified personnel using identical spare parts. This will ensure that the machine remains safe to use.
- If the product is damaged it must be checked and repaired by qualified personnel before it is used again.
TRANSPORT
WARNINGI
Take the weight of the product into consideration (see technical data) when
transporting and handling the product – risk of personal injury.
- Always use the handle to lift and carry the product. Protect the product from vibrations and knocks during transport.
- Secure the product so that it cannot move or tip over when transporting it in a vehicle.
TROUBLESHOOTING
