Thank you for choosing our sandwich/waffle maker. Before using the appliance, and to ensure the best use, carefully read these instructions. The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of death, injury, and electrical shock when correctly adhered to. Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference, along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt, and package. If applicable, pass these instructions on to the next owner of the appliance. Always follow basic safety precautions and accident prevention measures when using an electrical appliance. We assume no liability for customers failing to comply with these requirements.

SECURITY INSTRUCTIONS

When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed.

  • Please read this manual carefully before using the product.
  • When operating the product, do not move it at wilL
  • Please do not allow children to operate this product without the supervision of adults.
  • When using the product, please place it on top of a leveled surface or table.
  • When using the product, please keep it far away from any fire source, flammable or explosive hazardous article, or electric oven.
  • Please do not use this product outdoors.
  • During or after use, please do not touch the sandwich plate or the hot area on the shell before the temperature goes down. Only touch the handle with lower temperatures to avoid being burned.
  • The baking tray of this product has a nonstick surface so that it is easy to clean. Therefore, please do not use any metal nor a hard abrasive tool to wipe the interior/ exterior of the machine body, nor cook any kind of pies, to avoid scraping the surface of the baking tray.
  • Please unplug the electric plug after use. Do not unplug it by pulling the cord, instead, pull the electric plug.
  • To ensure safety, please do not disassemble the product by yourself. Should anything abnormal occur, please send it back to the sales agent and have it checked or repaired by professional service personnel
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  • The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
  • This electrical appliance contains a heating function. Surfaces, also different from the functional surfaces, can develop high temperatures. Since temperatures are differently perceived by different people, this equipment shall be used with CAUTION. The equipment shall be touched only at the intended handles and gripping surfaces, and you should use heat protection like gloves or similar. Surfaces other than intended gripping surfaces shall get sufficient time to cool down before being touched.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
  • Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years old.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  • You can choose from 3 kinds of exchange bakeware.
  • When the bakeware is replaced, please make sure the product is completely cooled down.
  • Replace the bakeware by pressing the slide button. When inserting the selected bakeware, make sure that the bakeware is properly installed and locked in.
  • Place the food ingredients on the plate (it can be lightly greased with cooking oil on the two hot plates depending on the recipe and personal preference).
  • Close the lid, insert the handle, and plug in the power to let the sandwich maker work. The light will be turned on.
  • There may be a slight smell and smoke during the first use. This is normal, transient, and harmless. Just make sure you have enough ventilation.
  • After 3-5 minutes, the light will be off to indicate that the sandwich maker has been heated to the proper cooking temperature. Now food can be taken out. Note: The cooking surface is hot, take your food out carefully.
  • After 3-5 minutes, the light will turn on and off as the sandwich maker is kept at the proper cooking temperature. The sandwich maker can continue cooking according to different food and personal tastes.
  • Be careful when taking food out. It is hot. Wait a few minutes to cool down before enjoying.
  • Unplug the power cord after cooking and allow the sandwich maker to cool before moving it, cleaning it or storing it.

CLEANING AND CARE

  • Unplug the electric plug after use and wait for it to cool down, then wipe the interior of the baking tray with a damp cloth and make sure the machine body is clean. You may also take out the baking tray after it cooled down to wipe it.
  • You could also wipe the surface of the product with a clean damp cloth.
  • Do not directly rinse the main body by immersing it in water to avoid any electric leakage or problems.

In compliance with Directives: 2012/19/EU and 2015/863/EU on the restriction of the use of dangerous substances in electric and electronic equipment as well as their waste disposal. The symbol with the crossed dustbin shown on the package indicates that the product at the end of its service life shall be collected as separate waste. Therefore, any products that have reached the end of their useful life must be given to waste disposal centers specializing in separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment, or given back to the retailer at the time of purchasing new similar equipment, on a one for one basis. The adequate separate collection for the subsequent start-up of the equipment sent to be recycled, treated, and disposed of in an environmentally compatible way contributes to preventing possible negative effects on the environment and health and optimizes the recycling and reuse of components making up the apparatus. Abusive disposal of the product by the user involves the application of administrative sanctions according to the laws.
