DESCRIPTION

The robust submersible dirty water pump can handle particles up to 40 mm. The pump is suitable for general pumping, extraction, and circulation of clean and dirty water, but not drinking water. It has a vertical outlet and a level monitor that can be used in both automatic and manual modes. To ensure that this pump lasts a long time the pump housing and impeller are made of cast iron, while the motor body and foot are made of stainless steel. Minimum water level to start: 150 mm. Residual level 55 mm.

USE

CONNECTION OF OUTLET TUBE

  1. Screw the outlet tube on the outlet connection. All the connections should be sealed with jointing tape.
    • When using a hose, screw a suitable hose adapter on the outlet connection.

  2. Press the hose firmly on the hose adapter and secure it with a hose clip.
    • A suitable hose can be used for temporary use. For permanent installation, a tube and non-return valve are recommended to prevent return flow when the product is switched off.

  3. Fasten a suitable line to the handle and lower the product at an angle into the water, so that no air remains underneath the product —this prevents suction.
Once the product is submerged, it can be straightened up.

  4. Place the product on the bottom of the tank. Fasten the end of the line securely when the product is lowered down.
The product can also be used suspended from the line. The product is ready to use when it is connected to the power supply.

NOTE:

  • The product needs a free space of at least 60 x 60 cm. The maximum submersion depth is indicated in the technical data.
  • Install the product so that the intake opening cannot be blocked.
  • Do not use the product to transport corrosive, flammable, or explosive substances such as petrol or other petroleum products, nitrogenous liquids, grease, oil, saltwater or wastewater from toilets, or liquid that has a higher viscosity than water.
  • The temperature of the pumped water must not exceed 35°C.

LEVEL ADJUSTMENT
The product must have a float switch that starts and stops the pump automatically.
The float switch must be fastened so that it can float freely and start and stop the product. The float switch can be set variably by undoing the screws and adjusting the free length of the cord.
FUNCTION CHECK BEFORE STARTING
Check the function of the float switch by carefully lifting it up and lowering it down to check that it closes and switches correctly.

  1. Adjust the position of the float switch so that the water level is controlled The gap between the top of the float switch and the float line adjuster must not be too small, otherwise, the float switch will not work properly.
  2. Make sure that the float switch does not reach the bottom before the pump stops.

WARNING: Risk of running dry.
NOTE:

  • Risk of material damage. Do not lift the product by the cord or the outlet tube, they are not designed to support the weight of the product. The float switch must be able to move so that the product cannot run dry.
  • When used hanging on the line: Do not run the product without the outlet tube connected. Make sure the product does not turn around its longitudinal axis. If the product is used hanging from the line, the line must be checked at regular intervals for wear and damage.
