OVERVIEW
- Take a moment to read and understand these instructions before installing your Flowmaster performance system.
NOTE: Please inventory all parts now before continuing and if necessary, report any missing items to our tech line. This will avoid potentially stranding your vehicle until any missing replacement parts arrive.

REMOVE THE STOCK EXHAUST SYSTEM

Raise the vehicle up on a hoist or rack to a working height. If you don’t have access to a hoist or rack, support the vehicle with jack stands.
WARNING:
Avoid serious burns! Allow your vehicle me to cool completely before touching any factory engine components.
To ease prepare on and installed on of your new kit:- Apply penetrant ng lubricant to mounts, bolts, and clamps before you remove them.
- Use stands as necessary to support parts as you detach them from your vehicle and again as you install new parts.

Position 2 car jacks under the vehicle body and until resale raised just above the ground, in order to remove and re-install tailpipes over axle.

Cut tailpipes at mu ffl er exits. Disassemble hanger wires from isolators and remove tailpipe seconds from the vehicle.

Remove fasteners from inlet pipes then disconnect and remove muffl er sections from the vehicle.
INSTALL FLOWMASTER EXHAUST SYSTEM

Remove nuts from stock and Flowmaster clamps, apply and seize compound to bolts and re-install nuts.
NOTE: The image in this step is intended for illustrative purposes only and may or may not accurately refl ect components included in your kit. -
Each connection in this kit must seat 2″ deep. Mark Myers accordingly so your Flowmaster exhaust system fi ts properly onto your vehicle.

Route le (3) and right (4) tailpipes over axle in place, inserting wire hangers into isolators.

9. Place (x2) clamps (5) onto right (1) and le (2) muïers, then connect them to tailpipes, pushing them together until the assemblies are properly in place. Insert wire hangers into isolators, then fasten ages together.

Adjust exhaust components for fi t; maintaining clearance and compensating for suspension, travel, and vibration, then tighten all clamps. Finally, fi t (x4) hanger keepers (6) onto each hanger.

Recommended: Secure slip-fi t connections with a 1-inch tack weld then spray high-temp paint over each weld to prevent rust and premature corrosion.
