OVERVIEW
- Take a moment to read and understand these instructions before installing your Flow master performance system.
NOTE: Please inventory all parts now before continuing and if necessary, report any missing items to our tech line. This will avoid potentially stranding your vehicle until any missing replacement parts arrive.

REMOVE STOCK EXHAUST SYSTEM:

Raise vehicle up on a hoist or rack to working height. If you don’t have access to a hoist or rack, support vehicle with jack stands.
WARNING: Avoid serious burra! Allow your vehicle time to cool completely before touching any factory engine components
To ease preparation and installation of your new kit:- Apply penetrating lubricant to mounts, bolts and clamps before you remove them.
- Use stands as necessary to support parts as you detach them from your vehicle and again as you install new parts.

Remove passenger side tailpipe from vehicle by loosening clamp and dismounting wire hanger from stock mount.

Remove factory tailpipe from vehicle by cutting it near muffler outlet and dismounting wire hangers from factory mounts.

Remove factory muffler wire hangers (x3) from factory isolators and detach grounding wire.

Remove nuts from factory pipe and catalytic converter flange. Remove muffler and factory pipe from vehicle.

Remove stock studs from catalytic converter flange.
INSTALL FLOWMASTER EXHAUST SYSTEM: -
Remove nuts from stock and Flowmaster clamps, apply anti-seize compound to bolts and re-install nuts.
NOTE: The image in this step is intended for illustration purposes only and may or may not accurately reflect components included in your kit. -
Connect inlet pipe (1) to catalytic converter, aligning then fastening 2 bolt flange (4) with (x2 ea.) bolt (5) through flat washer (6), flange, flat washer (6), lock washer (7) and nut (8).

Place clamp (3) onto muffler (2) then connect it to inlet pipe, inserting wire hangers into isolators. Tighten clamp enough to hold parts then re-connect grounding wire (detached step 5).

Adjust exhaust components for fit; maintaining %” clearance and compensating for suspension, travel and vibration, then tighten all clamps. Finally, fit (x3) hanger keepers (9) onto each sideways hanger.

Recommended: Secure slip-fit connections with a 1-inch tack weld then spray high-temp paint over each weld to prevent rust and premature corrosion.
