Device Setup

  1. Attach the ocular heater to the eyepiece.
  2. Connect the cable provided to the camera and the ocular heater.
  3. Switch on the ocular heater. (15 minutes heat up time)
  4. Set the switch to ‘HI’ for very cold conditions climate.
  5. Set the switch to ‘OFF’ during long breaks to extend the camera’s battery life.

Green LED Indicator

  • Illuminates: Heating up.
  • Flashes: Operating temperature reached.
  • Off: The switch is in the ‘OFF’ position or the internal safety circuit is activated.

Resetting the Internal Safety Circuit

  1. Set the switch to ‘OFF’.
  2. Check supply voltage (10 – 32 VDC).
  3. Restart the ocular heater.
