OVERVIEW
- Take a moment to read and understand these instrucƟ ons before installing your Flowmaster performance system.

REMOVE STOCK EXHAUST SYSTEM

Raise vehicle up on a hoist or rack to working height. If you don’t have access to a hoist or rack, support vehicle with jack stands.
WARNING:
Avoid serious burns! Allow your vehicle Ɵ me to cool completely before touching any factory engine components.
To ease preparaƟ on and installaƟ on of your new kit:
• Apply penetraƟ ng lubricant to mounts, bolts and clamps before you remove them.
• Use stands as necessary to support parts as you detach them from your vehicle and again as you install new parts.

Cut tailpipe at muffl er exit. Disassemble hanger wire from isolator and remove tailpipe secƟ on from vehicle.

Support muffl er and disassemble wire hangers from isolators. Loosen band clamp, disconnect inlet pipe then remove exhaust system.
NOTE: Clamp connecƟ on may need be heated or cut to be separated.
INSTALL FLOWMASTER EXHAUST SYSTEM

Apply anƟ -seize compound to threaded fasteners for a more secure install.
NOTE: The image in this step is intended for illustraƟ ve purposes only and may or may not accurately refl ect components included in your kit.

Place clamp hanger (2) onto muffl er assembly (1) and connect it to factory inlet pipe while inserƟ ng hangers into isolators.

Adjust muffl er to fi t properly then Ɵ ghten clamp fully.

Recommended: Secure slip-fi t connecƟ ons with a 1-inch tack weld then spray high-temp paint over each weld to prevent rust and premature corrosion.
CongratulaƟ ons, the installaƟ on of your FLOWMASTER performance exhaust system is now complete!
