BEFORE USE

Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate.

BIOCELL INLET FILTER

The inlet filter has a BIOCELL insert. BIOCELL is a special material for natural, biological water purification. Conventional mechanical filters only remove dirt particles, for example plant residues and dead insects, while biological filters also remove finely dispersed pollutants and turbidity. This is achieved by means of saltpetre forming bacteria. The porous BIOCELL material is specially developed to give this bacteria ideal conditions for
survival and propagation. Toxic organic substances are converted to natural plant nutrition in the BIOCELL filter- a natural process that contributes to the biological equilibrium of the garden pond.

NOTE:

  • The product must be protected from frost even when continually running. If the pump is used in areas where there is a risk of frost it should therefore be switched off and put away during the frost season.
  • The product must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with these instructions. All other use is considered to be unsuitable. The manufacturer cannot accept liability for any damages resulting from improper usage.
  • The product is only intended for household use and is not suitable for commercial purposes. The warranty will be invalidated if the product is used commercially, for example in industry or professional craftsmanship.
  1. Fasten the flow divider (5) with the coupling sleeve (4) on the fountain pump (1).
  2. Screw the fountain pipe (6) in the flow divider (5). The end with the flange and seal must be facing up.
  3. Fit the required fountain nozzle on the fountain pipe (6): step jet nozzle (7), bell jet nozzle (8) or foam effect nozzle (9).
MAINS CONNECTION

The product is supplied with an earthed plug. The product must be connected to an earthed power point with a voltage of 230 V ~ 50 Hz. The power point must be in good condition and fused with at least 6 A. The product is ready to use as soon as it is plugged in.

NOTE:
Never run the fountain pump without water.

FOUNTAIN USE

There are 3 fountain alternatives:

  • fountain only (step jet, bell jet or foam effect jet)
  • fountain plus waterworks via the flow divider
  • waterworks only via the flow divider
Spray pattern
  1. Bell jet
  2. Step jet
  3. Foam effect  FIG. 2
Fountain only

Place the product in the pond so that the fountain nozzle sticks up over the surface of the water. The tap (A) on the flow divider must be turned a quarter of a turn clockwise to closed position when only the fountain is used. The tap (B) must be open. FIG. 3

Fountain and waterworks

Position the product as described above. The flow divider makes it possible via a hose with an inner diameter of 13 mm to distribute water to waterworks. The tap (A) must then be turned a quarter of a turn anticlockwise to open position.

Waterworks only

For waterworks only the tap (B) must be turned a quarter of a turn clockwise to closed position. The tap (A) must be open. The flow of water then flows out in the hose to the waterworks and no water goes to the fountain. FIG. 4
