Thank you for choosing our fan. Before using the appliance, and to ensure the best use, care­fully read these instructions. The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of death, injury and electrical shock when correctly adhered to. Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference, along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and package. If applicable, pass these ins­tructions on to the next owner of the appliance. Always follow basic safety precautions and accident-prevention measures when using an electrical appliance. We assume no liability for customer failing to comply with these requirements.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Before using this electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should always be fol­lowed:

  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • This appliance can be used by children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or in­struction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or when idle.
  • To disconnect the appliance, first switch the control to OFF and then unplug it from the mains.
  • Do not pull out the mains plug by tugging the cable.
  • Do not pick up or operate the appliance if the power supply cord or the plug are damaged, or if the unit is malfunctioning or has been dropped or damaged in any way. In case of damage, contact the aftersales service. A damaged cord or plug must be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified person in order to avoid injuries.
  • Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes. This appliance is intended for household use only. Using it for commercial purposes will void the warranty.
  • The cord should be placed in such a way that there is no risk of anyone accidentally pulling it or tripping over it.
  • Place the appliance on a flat surface or table, do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the table or counter.
  • Do not immerse the appliance or the power cord into water or any other liquids. Should the appliance fall into water, immediately unplug it from the mains and have it checked by an expert before using it again. It may cause fire, electric shock, injury or even death.
  • Clean the appliance using a soft damp cloth or a very soft brush and dry it immediately.
  • Do not touch the fan’s moving parts. Never insert any objects through the grille when the fan is working.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Ensure that the voltage indicated on the Technical Specifications matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.

  1. Turn the speed control knob to the desired speed. This fan features three speeds: 0- OFF, 1-Slow, 2-Medium, 3-Fast.
  2. You can also tilt the fan to adjust it to the desired elevation.
  3. Do not touch the fan’s moving parts. Never insert any objects through the grille when the fan is working.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintaining it.
  • To clean the blades and the grilles, first remove the front grille from the rear grille. For safe­ty reasons, the front grille is slightly difficult to disassemble.
  • It is held in place by locking tabs that are mounted into the rear grille as well as a safety screw and a nut at the bottom of the grille.
  • Gently squeeze the grille and unlock the safety tabs on the bottom to unscrew the safety screw.
  • After unscrewing the fixing screw on the fan shaft and motor shaft, pull the fan blade as­sembly out from the motor spindle.
  • Wipe the grilles and the blades with a clean damp cloth. Make sure all of the parts are dry before reassembling the fan.
  • Clean the motor housing and the main body with a clean dry cloth.
