COMMON PROBLEMS

NOTE
To get the most out of your rice cooker, we recommend that you follow the instructions below:

  • Before cooking rice, you should wash it thoroughly with cold water. This is very important to remove excess starch from the rice, which is a white, sticky substance that can affect the taste, texture and quality of the rice. In addition, starch can clog the rice cooker’s vents, cause water to overflow or damage the non-stick coating of the bowl.
  • To wash the rice, place it in a bowl and cover it with cold water. Then rub the rice with your hands or a spoon to loosen the starch. Then drain the water and repeat the process several times, until the water runs clear. Finally, drain the rice well and place it in the bowl of the rice cooker.
  • The amount of water to add to the rice depends on the type of rice you are cooking and your personal preference.
  • When the rice cooker turns off, wait a few minutes before opening the lid to allow the rice to rest and settle. Then stir the rice with a plastic or wooden spatula to loosen the grains and prevent them from sticking.
  • You can then serve the rice and enjoy its flavour and texture.

In compliance with Directives: 2012/19/EU and 2015/863/EU on the restriction of the use of dangerous substances in electric and electronic equipment as well as their waste disposal. Abusive disposal of the product by the user involves application of the administrative sanctions according to the laws.
