IMPORTANT : Read carefully before installing fixture. Retain for future reference.

GENERAL : Upon receipt of the fixture, thoroughly inspect for any freight damage which should be brought to the attention of the delivery carrier. Compare the catalog description listed on the packing slip with the fixture label on the housing to assure you have received the correct material.

SAFETY : This fixture must be wired in accordance with the National Electrical Code and applicable local codes and ordinances. Proper grounding is required to insure personal safety. Carefully observe grounding procedure under installation section.

APPLICATIONS : This lighting fixture is designed for outdoor lighting services, and should not be used in area of limited ventilation or inside high ambient temperature enclosures. It must be stored in a dry location prior to installation. Do not expose lighting fixture to rain, dust or other environmental conditions prior to installation and insertion of photo control or shorting cap (if so equipped). Do not install the fixture near combustible materials or locate next to airflow blocking surfaces within 6 inches. Best results will be obtained if installed and maintained according to the following recommendations.

WIRING TABLE

Note : *Constructions built before Jan 2022 may have gray wire for 0-10 dimming control present. In these cases, the installer will label the gray building wire as a 0-10 dimming wire and connect to our product’s pink 0-10V dimming control wire. Reference NFPA70 (2020 NEC), section 410.69.

INSTALLATION

ACCENTS

  1. Unpack and ensure all included parts are present.

  2. Unscrew 4x mounting hardware from driver mounting plate, separate the Luminaire Disconnect to separate driver mounting plate from fixture assembly.

  3. Connect building AC supply wires from junction box to input wire side of LED driver with push nuts (included). Ensure excess ground wire can extend out of junction box.
    Note:
    Junction boxes must be min size of 2-1/8” deep and 4” square. Recommended Junction boxes are Crouse-Hinds part numbers TP403, TP432, TP434, TP438, TP395, or equivalent.COOPER-Lighting-Solutions-IL514001EN-1002-LED-Accent-

  4. Separate and route Luminaire Disconnect and ground wire out of center hole in driver mounting plate, Attach driver mounting plate to existing junction box with proper hardware (not included).

  5. Re-connect ground wire and Luminaire Disconnect to fixture assembly.

  6. Attach mount plate and gasket to driver mounting plate with 4x mounting hardware. Ensure adequate gasket compression to provide proper seal from the environment.COOPER-Lighting-Solutions-IL514001EN-1002-LED-Accent-and-Flood-Light-fig-3

  7. Using a 3/32” Allen Wrench, slightly loosen the set screw at knuckle base for rotational adjustment. Using a 9/64” Allen Wrench, slightly loosen the screw at the knuckle joint for angle adjustment. CYLINDERS

  1. Unpack and ensure all included parts are present.

  2. Unscrew 2x mounting hardware from driver mounting plate, separate the Luminaire Disconnect to separate driver mounting plate from fixture assembly.

  3. Connect building AC supply wires from junction box to input wire side of LED driver with push nuts (included). Connect ground wire to junction box. Ensure excess ground wire can extend out of junction box.
    Note:

  6. Using a 3/32” Allen Wrench, slightly loosen the set screw at knuckle base for rotational adjustment. Using a 9/64” Allen Wrench, slightly loosen the screw at the knuckle joint for angle adjustment.
