- Decide where to situate your lights and mount or spike the solar panel accordingly (Where the light will receive maximum direct sunlight – See “Important Notes”)
- Turn your lights “ON” by depressing the “ON/OFF” button on the solar panel (Please note: All kits are sent out in the “OFF” position)
- Temporarily cover solar panel with nontransparent surface for testing purposes only (this is so the Day/Night Sensor in the fitting registers as night-time) – If you have turned the light on correctly, the light should illuminate
- Whilst light is on, select desired working mode by pressing the “MODE” button on the solar panel
- Remove the non-transparent surface. Your light is now ready to use
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Please ensure you place your solar panel in a location where it can achieve a minimum of 6HRS DIRECT SUNLIGHT
- Be aware that on overcast/cloudy days, the solar panel will still charge. However, not as efficiently as a sunny day, so the battery may not reach full capacity. Therefore, your light may turn off earlier than specified
- It’s best not to install these lights underneath a street light, porch light etc. because this may stop the automatic day-night sensor triggering and result in your lights not turning on
