SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed.
- This type of refrigerator is widely used in places such as hotels, offices, students dormitories, and house. It adopts high efficient compressor and classic structural distribution. It enjoys the advantages of low electricity consumption, freezing capability, and easy use.
caution: When defrosting. never use any sharp or metallic objects to remove the frost on the surface of the evapora tor as this will damage the evaporator.
- Do not store bottled beverages in the freezing compartment, so as to prevent it from being broken and damaging the refrigerator.
- Replug the electric power again at an interval of over ten minutes.
- It must be checked that the voltage used should be the same as the rated voltage before using the refrigerator.
- The power plug should have its own separated socket in order to prevent the electric wire from being overheated by other plugs.
- Do not splash water on to the refrigerator. Otherwise, it may cause malfunctions of the refrigerator or electric shock.
- Do not store flammable materials such as alcohol, gasoline, LP gas, and glue in the refrigerator.
WARNING: Food should not be stored in the freezer in contact with its wall. When the surface of the evaporator freezes it creates a thin layer of ice that would end up turning anything in contact with this part of the freezer into a block of ice, which would also hinder the correct functioning of the product.
INSTALLATION
- Do not tilt the refrigerator for more than 45° from upright when moving it. Do not apply force to any part such as the condenser, the door and its handle in order to prevent the refrigerator from deforming, or else its performance will be influenced.
- Ensure that there Is enough space around the refrigerator in order to let it work well.
- The refrigerator should be kept away from high temperatures, sunshine or humid conditions.
OPERATION
- When operating the refrigerator for the first time, set the thermostatic dial at 3, connect the electric wire and run it without loading any food. Usua Uy this takes 2 or 3 hours. Then set the thermostatic dial at the desired setting and place food into the refrigerator.
- The temperature of the refrigerator can be adjusted by turning the thermostatic dial. Setting the thermostatic dial at 3 • 4is the most suitable for general operation. When the thermostatic dial number is higher, the refrigeration capability is stronger.
- Do not put too much food in the refrigerator. Open the door less in order to maintain the temperature of the refrigerator and save on electricity consumption.
- When making ice cubes, fill the ice-making case with drinkable water and put into the freezer. It takes about 2 or 3 hours to make ice cubes. Pieces of ice cubes can be removed by twisting it. Do not press it up and down otherwise it may be broken.
- Defrost the freezer whenever the layer of frost on the surface reaches 3 or 4 mm. When defrosting, remove all food, set the thermostat at 0 position and open the door. After the frost has melted, discard the water and dry up the interior of the refrigerator. It can be then restarted by turning its thermostat to the desired setting.
- When the ambient temperature is less than 10 •c, turn on the compensation switch in order to avoid the compressor being off for long time. When the ambient temperature is over 10 •c, please turn off the compensation switch to save energy. This is an optional function only for some models.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- When cleaning the refrigerator, disconnect the electric wire. Rub it carefully with a piece of cloth soaked with neutral cleanser, then wipe it clean with fresh water.
