Installation Instructions

Vent Mounting
Attach the product to your vent by pushing the spring-loaded clip (A) arnd hook it onto the back of the vent blades in your vehicle. Once hooked on, release the spring-loaded clip to grip onto the vent.

Adjusting the viewing angle
Adjust the angle by loosening the tightening ring (B) of the ball joint on the back of the product. Once you are happy with the viewing angle, tighten the ring (B) to hold in place.

Connecting the power source
Take the included USB-C to USB-A cable and connect it to the USB-C input (C) of the wireless charger. Plug the USB-A end into the 12V USB Car Adapter and plug into your vehicle’s 12V power sOcket.

Applying the magnets
With your device placed face down (without or without a case) on a flat surtace, align the stencil’s indicated centre to your devices centre. Apply the magnets in the stencil’s cut-Outs, then press and hold firmly for 30 seconds. Alternatively, place the larger set of magnets between your case and device on the top and bottom half of your device.

Charge your device wirelessly
To wirelessly charge your device, place it over the wireless charging output (D), making sure the magnets on your device are aligned with the magnetic holders (E)

Troubleshooting

Not charging or slow charging
Please ensure you are using the supplied power adapter within the Race Pro wireless charger. Using other chargers may result in slow charging or no charge at all. If you need to replace the power adapter, please make sure it supports QC 3.0 and supports a 12V USB output.

For optimum charge speed, adjust your device so that it is aligned to the centre of the wireless charging output (D). Please ensure that the case on your phone is not affecting the wireless charging by removing it and checking the performance. Some cases interfere with wireless charging if they contain metallic material or are overly thick.

Ensure that the magnets are not interfering with the wireless charging feature of your device, by allowing sufficient space from the centre of your device. Please note that this product may not be suitable for devices with central rear cameras or have large cameras which cover the area required for the magnetic plates.

Caution

  1. Do not disassemble or throw into fire or water.
  2. Do not expose to extreme weather conditions.
  3. Do not place close to a magnetic strip or strip card as it cOuld cause magnetic failure.
  4. Please keep charger a safe distance of at least 80cm from any implantable medical devices to avoid medical device interterence.
  5. This is not a toy and should be kept away from children.
  6. In the case of the device overheating. please disconnect immediately.

  • This product is for household use only. If the product is used in a commercial environment, the warranty period will be automatically reduced to three (3) months.
  • Cygnett warrants that, with normal use or service, the product will be free from faulty parts, manufacture or workmanship.
  • The warranty does not apply where damage is caused by other factors, eg. mishandling, abuse, accident or failure to follow operating instructions.
