Product description

 The Nedis ASWI2604BK is a 4-way speaker switch box that allows the user to distribute the loudspeaker output of an audio amplifier to 4 pairs of speakers.

The 4-way speaker switch box is equipped with spring-loaded terminals for input and output connections.

Intended use

The product is exclusively intended for distributing the loudspeaker output of an audio amplifier to passive speakers with an impedance load rated at 4 to 16 Ohms.

Any modification of the product may have consequences for safety, warranty and proper functioning.

Total impedance

The total impedance of the connected loudspeakers is calculated from the series connection of speaker pair 1 and 2, as well as 3 and 4. These pairs in turn are connected in parallel.

  • If 4 Ohm loudspeakers are used, the provided total impedance values have to be halved.

Safety instructions

WARNING

  • Only use the product as described in this manual.

Installation

  • Check the contents of the package

  • Check the product for any visible damage. If the product is missing or damaged, contact the Nedis B.V. service desk via the website: www.nedis.com.

  • Connect the 4-way speaker switch box

  • Make sure all the devices you want to connect have been turned off.

  • Always comply with the operating instructions of the devices that you want to connect.

  • Introduce the cables to the terminals neatly to exclude short circuits.

  • Make sure that your amplifier can handle the total impedance of the setup of your speakers. Consult an audio specialist if necessary.

1. Connect the output terminals 5 and 6 for speaker pair 1 to the corresponding speaker.

2. Connect the output terminals 7 and 8 for speaker pair 2 to the corresponding speaker.

3. Connect the output terminals 9 and 10 for speaker pair 3 to the corresponding speaker.

4. Connect the output terminals 11 and 12 for speaker pair 4 to the corresponding speaker.

5. Connect the input terminals 13 and 14 to the loudspeaker output terminals of the amplifier.

Use

  •  Due to the series-parallel arrangement, the switches with no connected loudspeaker are always in the OFF position.
  • Turn on your amplifier and play audio.
  • Use the rocker switches 1, 2, 3 and 4 to select the desired speaker pair(s).
  • Operate the volume control of your amplifier to adjust the overall volume.

Maintenance

  •  Clean the product regularly with a soft, clean, dry cloth. Avoid abrasives that can damage the surface.
  • Do not use aggressive chemical cleaning agents such as ammonia, acid or acetone when cleaning the product.

 Any changes and/or modifications to the product will void the warranty. We accept no liability for damage caused by improper use of the product.
